Starting a rice flour beetle culture
While the adult beetles are not meant to be fed off as they have an astringent taste to predators, the larval stage makes a great option for small reptiles & amphibians. These are also great for fish. Medium is wheat flour & rice flour & nutritional yeast per aquarimax pets directions. Starter beetle culture from Josh's frogs. #feederinsects #reptilesofinstagram #fishofinstagram ๐ชฒ
Ending this awesome day but sharing my favorite part. I got to be a part of one of my very good friends purchasing her very 1st snake! This lovely het pied male is from @maestro_exotics who was very kind & dedicated to providing quality animals. It was awesome to meet him and all his gorgeous healthy pythons. This also makes my 3rd friend whom I have convinced to get into snakes. Bad influence? Of course not!!!!

New Isopods Available now!
Introducing: A. Vulgare โPunta Canaโ
These isopods are a locale of a. vulgare collected from Punta Cana, a town in the Dominican Republic. They come in a mix of colors ranging from gray, red, orange, yellow, white, brown & black. These isopods enjoy warm temperatures and an occasional misting, but do not do as well in an extremely wet environment, a moisture gradient is always best. Punta Cana make excellent clean-up crew companions, they are also ideal for enticing hungry reptiles, and will beautify your enclosure! Be aware that A. Vulgare isopods do like to munch on live plants! These make excellent beginner isopods, they are hearty, and breed quickly once established in your enclosure. Pick up some of these gems for your set ups today!

Got these awesome 3d printed isopod feeding dishes from my sister @wynterwhat & her husband last week. This was a really awesome personal favor. Tonight I rough up the ramps to make them easier to grip. My isopods are not spoiled at all!
Seymour is making sure I don't burn anything.
Isopods Spotlight: Armadillidium Maculatum: Zebra Isopods
Zebra Isopods are small, terrestrial isopods that are typically 2 cm in length and have a distinct, black-and-white striped pattern along their entire body. These markings help camouflage them in their natural environments, allowing them to blend into both dark and light backgrounds. Just like real Zebras!
Benefits:
*Hardy, active, & easy to care for. Great for beginners!
*Attractive!
*Easy to handle
*Excellent bioactive custodian, they consume waste & they aerate the substrate, preventing anaerobic decomposition.
