We hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year's. We hope you all had fun and were able to stay safe. Now it's time to make sure your fish are safe. Even during these busy times, please make sure to check on your koi and goldfish. Please make sure there is plenty of aeration and a hole in the ice.

While koi and other pond fish are relatively dormant over winter, they do need our help surviving the winter. Toxic gasses can build up in the water over winter if the pond freezes over. Ensuring that your aerator and deicer are functioning properly can be the difference between your fish surviving the winter or not.

Next Saturday (October 2nd), Aquatica will be hosting our annual Fall Shutdown and Winter Preparation Seminar at our retail location. The seminar highlights how to properly winterize your pond by covering fish care, mechanical preparations, what to do with your plants and so much more.
Free snacks and beverages will be served as well as 15% off everything in the store for the duration of the day! This would be a great opportunity to stock up on any supplies you may need for this Fall.
