In the grooming industry the majority of us are paid via commission percentage & not that we depend on tips but they are greatly appreciated. Especially when we use most of our tip money for bandanas for your pup, colognes, sharpening our tools etc.

Something that I will cherish much more than a cash tip is a gift. Especially a handmade one. A client of mine makes rainbow catchers & gifted me with it after I groomed her shihtzu. To say I’m obsessed is an understatement. This is the coolest sweetest gift. It fits in perfectly with my bathroom as I have a bunch of disco balls catching sunlight from the window.

I’m so grateful to have amazing clients & have the opportunity to do a job I love.

Here are some areas that can get super knotted on your pup & to focus more on brushing rather than the top part of the coat. 📢 sound quality isn’t the best so you’ll have to turn up the volume 😅

This technique is highly recommended by groomers for pet parents to use daily on their pups! Start from the bottom & work your way up - brushing all the way to the skin. Double check that you got every knot with a grey hound comb at the end.
