Fun Farm Fact: Want to keep from eating your plants this spring/summer? Here's a natural recipe that works. Mix 3 raw eggs, 3 cloves garlic, 3 cups water, 3 tbsp. milk, 3 tbsp. cayenne pepper in a blender. Pour into a container and let it sit for several days. Strain the mixture into a spray bottle. Spray on your plants.

We have been busy, with lots of projects getting ready for spring.

Lots of great things around the farm. But one big bummer is our well collapsed entirely and we have to have a now well dug.

We have one more day until our first set of chicks hatch. We can now see the eggs moving sometimes. It is so exciting.

I picked up my chainsaws from the shop. They were in desperate need of a cleaning and a tune up. Now I can work on thinning out some of the small saplings and getting some firewood stored up for the winter.

We have a puppy and a kitty at the same time. They love to play all day.

Today I have been working on my chicken coop. I finally finished the doors to the hen house. I am so happy to get another big project done on the farm. Next is a bunny pen.
