Why is a unique old wooden box so creepy?
Well I don't care. I took it home with me today searched the guys name and the first obituary that popped up was he passed away on April 3, 2005 the birthday of my best friend the year she passed. Into reading this obituary I realized he was related to the Hataways none I knew of but there was a Lindsey in the family, which led me to believe this box was for me to open, nothing but leaves were in it. I didn't walk it through my house because I believe sage is necessary but the connections were real.

I wish I had pictures of every pet I groomed throughout my years. Some have become my occasional grooms some regulars ever month and other from the time I started this profession 17+years ago. I use to print pictures out but now they stay stored on my my phone and I’ve lost a few phones as well as photos. I’ve had people follow me, drive long distance for what reason I’m not sure because I know I’m not the best but what I do know is I’ve always had a passion for connecting with each one of those little babies in their own little way that they enjoy. I’ve been bitten in the face, on the arms, clawed and many other things I’d rather not say but I love what I do! I started doing this, what now seems like as a kid and I knew then that this was a hobby I could make into a career. I have grown attached to so many of my pets people lol along the way, I mean really they’re the ones that help pay my bills but I truly have a bond with them just as much as a their babies. It’s always hard when they/I lose one of those babies whether they move far away or pass away the connection runs deep with me and hurts. I feel the hurt in each one of my clients when they lose their pets because their pets have become mine too.
