Closing off the year right: welcome to , Amelia Lyon Dressage !

We are so thrilled to have Amelia Lyon join us as our latest trainer. Amelia is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medal dressage trainer, who believes in an empathetic and quiet approach when working with horses. After having the opportunity to work and show up and down the East Coast with Olympians, judges, and numerous FEI trainers, Amelia has moved back to her home state of Maryland, and is proud to be offering training services and lessons to all levels and skill sets.

She is excited to have the opportunity to work with County Saddlery because of the top-quality craftsmanship, the dedication to customers, and because of the difference she can feel in her horses while riding in a County saddle. The first horse she leased as a child had a County, and riding in one "feels like going home."

Of her brand new , she says:
"The saddle is amazing! I love how the stitching and piping turned out. It’s perfect! I really do think he moves freer in it even before it’s fitted to him."

And we can't wait to go adjust this new saddle to Amelia's horse, and show you all the beautiful design that Amelia chose for her Epiphany!

After years of training, showing and working up and down the East Coast, I am proud to be back in my home state of Maryland.

I am excited to offer training, coaching, help with sales and limited boarding out of my new homebase right outside of Frederick Maryland.
