I love my job! Took a service dog in training to a basketball game and she did absolutely amazing! Thanks to the FASDogs organization and the team at dream acres for doing such a good job with her training so far and letting me help!

A Service Dog handler friend of mine created this due to discrimination issues they have been facing over their need for a SD. These issues are currently in North Carolina but happen all over. Even if you don't want to sign the petition what is wrote is great education.

This can also occur in adult dogs from shelters or dogs from breeders or puppy raisers.
I am in no way saying it always does or that you shouldn't get dogs from any of these places but please look out for these things and be prepared to work through them with a qualified trainer.

I will also say that another thing that may happen is one dog will rely on being confident only when it is with the other dog. Therefore showing fear and lack of confidence without the other dog. While this can be a minor thing it will need to be worked through slowly, with kindness, and the right tools.
