ISO puppies between 4 months old and 6 months old that would benefit from a training class. I have a class starting this Saturday at 3pm. This class was postponed a few times because I didn’t have enough puppies signed up to start. I do officially have 2 dogs and will be hosting the class, but we have lots of room for a few more! We will be meeting once a week for an hour for a total of 6 weeks. The cost is $188, and they must be up to date on their shots. I have 1 dog signed up for my Adult ABCs next Monday Feb. 10th at 5 pm. We are needing at least one more dog, but I'll gladly take many more! If you have been thinking of working on basic cues with your dog in a distracting environment now is the time! Group classes are 6 weeks long and cost $188. If you have attended any of my classes and learned "Wait" from me, you have heard this story. This happened today 5 years ago! These are so good dogs right here.

”This is why teaching the wait cue is sooooo important. Let me explain. This morning while waiting for my friend and her kids to get here I guess didnt get the front door latched. I decided to go use the restroom. While im in there we had a huge gust of wind, common in my area. I didnt think much of it and finished up in the bathroom. When I came back out here. All 3 dogs are happily waiting for me. My 1 year old Aussie is just laying on the ground. My def jack russle is sitting on the couch. My older dog Nara had come into my room and was looking for me, probably to tell me about the door, or hoping to find some left over cat food, hard to tell with her. My point is, my front door was open and I'm not saying for a few seconds it had to have been 3 to 4 minutes it was open, and all of my dogs stayed in the house. How amazing is that?"

Last night we had a Graduation where both puppies also passed their S.T.A.R. puppy test! They did amazing and I'm so proud of them! Good job!

I want to increase interest in my Rally class. I have so much fun teaching this and letting you guys play on the course, so I’m going to try a new time for this class. It will now be held on Saturdays at 10am. I will need three dogs to sign up to make this class happen.

What is Rally? Think of Rally as any team sport: You and your dog navigate a course, side-by-side, as you steer them through a course of 10-20 different signs. Each of these signs provides instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed. The dog and handler move continuously throughout the course with the dog under control at the handler’s left side. There is a clear sense of teamwork between the dog and handler both during and between the numbered signs.

I have an Adult ABCs class starting today at 1:30pm. We currently have two students signed up and would like to have more. If you're interested in joining us you can sign up on my website, send me a message or meet me at 2189 Isaac's Ave (The Wishbone building) to join us! It is a 6 week long class that costs $170. Think of an AKC Rally event as any team sport: You and your dog navigate a course, side-by-side, as you steer him through a course of 10-20 different signs. Each of these signs provides instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed. The dog and handler move continuously throughout the course with the dog under control at the handler’s left side. There is a clear sense of teamwork between the dog and handler both during and between the numbered signs. This is the class to practice the skills and teamwork needed to qualify in a Rally event!

Reminder post about my Puppy PowWows! These are currently held on Saturdays at 6pm. Puppy PowWow is a special hour where puppies between 6 months and 1 year old can play and socialize in a safe environment. PowWows will happen in the Wishbone building where the floor is cleaned in-between each class to keep all puppies healthy. During these PowWows the pups must stay up to date on their shots. Some restrictions apply Let me know if you have any questions or want to get signed up!
