We will be OPEN on Monday 01-20, 1-5pm until further notice. Our semi of alfalfa is expected to be here Monday, hopefully early morning, though we will keep everyone updated! Come get alfalfa, TimOrch grass, feeds, shavings, cubes, pellets, minerals, sourdough, milk, cookies, Gallaghers Water, electrolytes, all of the above before our wicked weather. 🙏🏼

PS, is only $5 per serving and is a literal life saver for dehydration and preventing colic. Another trick, come get some alfalfa cubes from us, add warm water, a couple pinches of salt, and you have yourself a yummy hydration station.

However you need to do it, remember you cannot over-water them, but you can under-water them. Water keeps those stomach contents moving and breaking down, and prevents clogs or tummy aches. More hydration=more saliva=ease of processing and passing. There have also been studies to show that horses drink more water when in a light colored hanging bucket in comparison to black buckets, hmm! Get yourself a light blue bucket with comfortably warm water, add your , and watch the magic happen 💚

We have been swamped with the store's improvements, painting, getting new inventory in, getting it out, and everything in between, so we failed to get good photos of all the deliveries that went out this past week. In one week, we have delivered and sold 25 bundles of TO, 5 bundles of alfalfa, and 60 bags of feed. WOW!!!! To say we are growing is an understatement; now it's time to keep up with you guys!

Do we have interest in a partial indoor & outdoor Farm Swap series of events, monthly during closed hours to maximize parking.
You would provide tables/tents, can provide power for a fee. This would be healthy small animals, no dogs sales, any farm made products (soaps, eggs, supplements, meats, handmade items, etc)

Gallagher's Water 💦 In full effect this time of year for the North Carolinians dealing with major heat indexes to fluctuating barometric pressures due to storms brewing. This sweet boy is enjoying his refreshing Gallaghers Water on a hot day, while recovering from a bad colic spell. He has been unimpressed with water lately and took to the magic green water IMMEDIATELY while still filling the bucket 🪣 for $5 you can fill 5 gallons or so with this good stuff, or buy in bulk, 12 packets for less than $30. Now that we have long hot days here in Southeastern NC, we all are noticing our horses shying away from of the richer forages like alfalfa (can you blame them?).. a wonderful and safe forage for any weather is our Timothy Orchard. Lower in protein than the alfalfa & lower in NSC, this is a great option as a buffer before thinking about Coastal Bermuda. 🐴
