All doodles are not the same. We breed Australian Labradoodles (ALD), a combination of many different breeds bred over decades by design.
The Doodle world has exploded. There are Bernidoodles, Goldendoodles, Aussiedoodles (australian shepherd and poodle) , Sheepadoodle, - the list goes on. According to google, there are over 40 types of poodle mixes.
These are CROSS BREEDS. One breed is a whatever and the other is a poodle. When you have a first or second cross, there is no consistency. It is only by breeding like to like for many many generations that you can achieve consistency.
While these dogs are cute and may have the soft fleece coat like an Australian Labradoodle, that's where the similarity ends. When you add almost two decades of health testing that we have gathered from our lines, you are also getting the healthiest puppy possible. Don't be fooled. Look for an ALAA member breeder when searching for your next furry family member.
