Our Story

My mother and I started this business together part time back in 2000. We have lived in Wallingford for over 50 years and have had pets of our own for over 40 years. We have delivered a variety of natural and organic products over the years, as well. My Mom wanted to use the name PetEx like (FedEx) since we delivered our services right to your doorstep. We wanted to provide Loving-In-Your-Home pet care that gave your pet the best stress free environment while you were away on vacation or at work.

I have been providing Professional Pet Care for over 20 years for all animals that have included; livestock, exotic and domestic pets. I am very passionate about natural health for both myself and my own pets and had delivered raw organic pet food for over 5 years along with organic and wholistic products which, I delivered right to my clients doorstep. I am currently looking into the future and may deliver these kinds of products again, if the need presents itself.

I have 3 passions in life and they include, pets and natural health so I went back to school for a Holistic Health Coach and merged this with my own Pet’s Care and knowledge of natural pet products and eventually will be adding some products and more services as this evolves.

Our business was posted in the North Haven Citizen called “Mother-Daughter team brings pet-sitting to you” in June 2005. There was a picture of us with a teacup Maltese and we were so proud to provide such one on one individual attention for all our pet clients.

My mother retired and has since then passed away 2 years ago. Since my Mom’s passing I had to take some time out of the PetEx business for this and for the losses of my 2 brothers.

I have recently returned my attention back to the PetEx pet sitting services and have received so much support in order to continue providing the best pet care and just recently completed PetTech First Aid/CPR training, made PetEx pet sitting an LLC, Insured and Bonded and am a Member of Pet Sitters, International in 2019.

I have also been a pet owner of Pugs for as along as I can remember as my parents purchased us one back when I was a little girl and I fell in love with the breed. I now, have 2 sister pugs from the same litter.

At this time, I provide pet sitting in your home that includes all pets, dog walking for daily, weekly & vacation pet owners who desire the Pet Care in their Home. I also, provide selective boarding and kenneling in my own home which evolved as I have the space, now.

I am so looking forward to meeting with new pet owners for a Pet Consultation to go over your needs for Pet Care.
