We love ALL adoptions but this one is so VERY special to us!!!! This is Bean. Bean was adopted out as a puppy along with her sister. Well littermate syndrome is real. When she reach around 5 months, her and her sister needed to be separated. Her LOVING family was broken hearted to have to bring her back (we ask for our pets to come back to us if it isn’t working and they did as they said they would do when they signed the contract). Our volunteer “family” ( yes, they ALL volunteer) the Podhajser’s took her into their home as a foster because she was so scared (she was scared even as a puppy). Well after 225 days of fighting it, they signed the papers today and Bean is now a Podhajser too!! Please congratulate Bean on her now furever home.

PopTart and Strudel are the perfect Galentines. These girls love each other and speak purrfect Meowish. It's so easy to get a conversation going with them and if you answer one and not the other you'll quickly find her getting into the discussion. They are both very affectionate and enjoy being held and given ear scritches. We want these two felines to stay together. Two cats are always better than one anyway! This sweet little family had a very rough start in life. They will be ready for adoption at the end of the week with the exception of Lambchop who has some developmental delays. Our vet is running tests to see how we can help her. We are accepting donations for her medical care and prayers for a full recovery.❤️‍🩹

Leroy had a nice outing this weekend. He went to Horizons Park and enjoyed a long hike, then he went shopping at Lowes. He jumped right in the car and enjoyed the ride. People stopped to meet him and he was the perfect gentleman, just a little excited. After choosing a hedgehog toy and some treats, he slept all the way back to FOSS. We would like to thank Palmetto Theatre in Walnut Cove for hosting our 1st EVER Puppy Luv concert! It was an AMAZING success. It wouldn’t have been possible without Jon Montgomery and Friends donating their time AND talent on a Saturday afternoon. Sorry, but we were having SO much fun that we didn’t get many photos. We welcomed the Walnut Cove Reading Buddies today. This time they were able to go and sit in front of the kennels and read to ALL of the pups and kitties. Thanks to the F.A.C.E.S of FOSS committee, they read new passages and left with a coloring book of our animals. We LOVE having these schools visit us.
