TCHA TURN AND BURN BUCKLE SERIES buckles are here. Final show September 28th. If you registered for the buckle series here they are. Double points for the last show. Still an open show for anyone who wants to get some practice in before state.

The City is preparing for this week’s extreme heat. ☀️

🚫 Open Space Closure: For the safety of visitors and firefighters, our open spaces are closed through July 5.

🌳 Summer Camps & Pools: Activities are moved indoors, pools remain open.

🧊 Cooling Centers: Stay cool at Walnut Creek and Ygnacio Valley libraries, and Tice Valley Gym will be open Saturday and Sunday.

Sooo this happened… a tree went down at the ECWC Arenas overnight. Couple of thoughts for you all as we are:

- Incredibly grateful no horse or human was harmed.

- Thankful to the City of Walnut Creek for helping us clear this, trim all trees in the area, and repair damage to fencing.

- Amazed at the timing and limited damage done to our facilities *especially* considering: recent repairs to our storage shed, all the trucks and people there to work on our footing last week, and all the events we have in the summertime.

- Calling out a heads up for us all. This high and dry heat is very stressful on trees. Please check the health of the trees around your home.

We will have the arenas closed until we have all brush cleared and repairs made. Take care of yourselves and your animals as we head into the heart and heat of Summer! ❤️🌞🐴
