Introducing........A New Litter

CH Mt. View's Back in Time MH (Marti) x DC Ammo's Denver Brier Patch (Denver)

This litter was born 02/13/23. 2 boys and 2 girls. Because we had Dana's litter on the site we decided to wait until Dana's pups went to their new homes before posting these pictures.

That is why we're starting with pictures from Week 3.

Big moves happened this week as they went from the swimming pool to the whelping box. Marti is a great mom!

Week 7

Here we are - Week 7 and the pups have left for their new homes. 2 pictures are missing as those families will have their pictures taken soon.

Weeks Five and Six

Another week of fun and visitors. We met our families, got groomed and are now eating out of separate food bowls.

Week Four

Lots of new things this week. We moved to a bigger whelping box and then on to bigger things like a pen where we can have even more room to play.

We had more visitors and loved every minute of it!

A Letter from the Yurkovic Family regarding their dog, Max.

Max turned 5 this past October 17. This picture is Max retrieving pheasant 1,000, which he completed in his fifth hunting season.

He is a fantastic hunter and more importantly, he is a great family pet. Thank you for our wonderful dog!

Max is proudly loved and owned by the Yurkovic Family!

While we were saving Max's current picture, we came across this one of him in the field at 4 months old.

Way to go Max! Keep hunting and retrieving those birds!

Upcoming Litter!!!!

We are pleased to announce that Dana Rose (CH Mt. View's Prime Attraction JH) will be having puppies within the next 2 weeks. She was bred to Otis (FC Marjo's Sam Son).

While the number of puppies is not known at this time, Dana Rose is looking good with those babies in her belly.

PLEASE NOTE: Domenic would LOVE for these puppies to go to field trial homes. Any inquiries should go directly to Domenic Serago (215) 880-9722.

Marti finishes a successful fall field trial season. Here’s Domenic and Marti with her 1st place ribbon (Amateur Gun Dog w/Retrieving Stake) from the Eastern German Shorthair Pointer Club’s Horseback field trial.

The other ribbons are from Susquehanna Brittany Club (2nd place Amateur Gun Dog), Weimaraner Club of Greater DC Area (2 placements – 2nd Place Amateur Gun Dog & 2nd Place Amateur Limited Gun Dog), Eastern German Shorthair Pointer Club Walking field trial (3rd place Amateur Gun Dog) and Kentucky Brittany Club (2nd place Amateur Gun Dog).

We had a great time after a hunt test with these 3 girls. Rigbee (will be 11 in January), her daughter, Mira (8 yrs old) and granddaughter, Emma (3 yrs old). They did a great job finding those birds.

Rigbee and Mira are both Master Hunters and Emma has 2 legs of her Master Hunter title. Emma will be back out in the spring for the remaining Master Hunter legs (she was a bit busy having puppies this summer)..

According to her mom, Gracie is enjoying her travels in their RV with her big sister, Katie.

The peacefulness and innocence of a sleeping puppy is just priceless. Just remember, she's not sleeping - she's recharging her battery!!!

Emma x Finn Litter Week 6

We had plenty of visitors this weekend and everyone knows which family they belong to.

The slide came out this weekend! We played long and hard in the warm summer sun and then fell asleep quickly when we got back in the house.

Busy week - this week we go to the vet for our first shot and exam.

Training with Nova (Rayne x Finn) aka Mt. View's Supernova Here's the ongoing training of Nova in the field. In these videos, you will see her learning how to honor another dog and quail training both on lead and off lead. Apologies for the pixelating in the videos. There is also a picture of her on point. Nova was 4 months old at the time of these videos. Enjoy!

Mt. View's Supernova - Nova (Rayne x Finn) We've taken Nova to the "big dog fields". Here she is at 4 months finding more quail. The grass was just cut but the bird was in thick stuff as tall as Nova! We are very proud of Nova and Evan. Evan is out here with us every weekend with Nova and they are making a GREAT team. Way to go!

Here are the videos taken of their training sessions. As you can see, when one goes on point, the other dog is being taught to honor. Their owners have done a fantastic job doing the homework they were given during the summer. The hard work they put into these dogs certainly shows. Finn is owned and loved by the Duffy family and Sienna is owned and loved by the Stella family.
