Oliver & I went to stay at Peanut’s house for Thanksgiving weekend so I could water Peanut’s massive Christmas tree 🎄. It drank so much water the first few days. Oliver made himself right at home and Peanut, as always, was a gracious host. Both boys did a great job of keeping the backyard safe and secure on their watch duty.

I took care of Reggie and Rover, who are the dogs from the owner of my gym, for a few days in November. They made themselves right at home in my tenant Kathryn’s bedroom. They of course joined the neighborhood watch and did a few shifts. Rover just wanted to be near me or on me all the time. So sweet 🥹

Almost every Monday and Tuesday this fall, I took Annie and Odell on a walk or a hike in the woods. Annie loves the car ride and thanks me by putting her head on my shoulder. Annie met her smaller version doppelgänger Sunny at the park last week.

I had between four and seven dogs last week during February vacation for the public schools here in Massachusetts. We had lots of hikes play dates and running around trying to tire them all out. I was exhausted too, but with a smile on my face that this is my “job”!
