We are planning to start Hunter 2 (ground poles to 2’3) tomorrow at 8 am. Hunter 1 (2’6-3’6) will start at the completion of Hunter 2. Plan your morning schooling accordingly: Please school any ground pole to 2’3 horses and riders first as Hunter 1 will be available to school when the show starts!

It looks like the weather will cool off by the weekend! We’ll have ground poles through 3’6 hunters and eq on Saturday and 18”-3’6 jumpers Sunday! Stalls are filling quickly. See you this weekend!

It was a HOT one but we had a great weekend at Heritage Park! Mavis and BreAnn completed their first horse trials at the schooling show and Moxie learned a lot at her first cross country schooling yesterday!

We had a great week at Two Rivers week 2! Congrats to Mavis, Cadence and Amy for great placings throughout the week. We had lots of help from Aspen, Blair and a surprise visit from horse show mom extraordinaire Ruth! Queso found a great home with a new kiddo, and we’re so excited for Emily and the Johnson Family.

We lost one of the goodest of boys yesterday 💔 Smoke was originally one of Mike’s ranch horses (where he often got in trouble for snacking on the job) and later transitioned into one of the kings of the lesson string. He took many people who had never ridden a horse on trail rides through our beautiful countryside, and carried littles around their first schooling shows. Thank you for everything Smoke ❤️ if you have photos or special memories of Smoke, please share them!

We made the most out of one week at HITS Chicago! Amy and the best Bob took 5th and 6th in the Jumper Classic and Open Jumper Prix. Chipito (Pita, Big Yellow) had very solid rounds in the 3’ Green Hunters, securing a few red ribbons in a competitive field. The Little Yellow, Queso, moved up to the 2’6 and was reserve champion in the schooling ponies thanks to a great catch ride by Harper Tjardes.
