New Year's is a sit with Haylo. Her mom & dad have never left her. She's very slow to warm up to me.

Her protests are: Food strike (one day), won't sleep with me, refusing to go out to potty peeing downstairs instead.

My response: spiking the food with moms suggested ham; taking her out on a leash and releasing her once we're away from the house.

Yes, I mopped the basement. I always clean up accidents I'm aware of.

3 equines—2 horses, 1 pony. They have a common hay feeder and each has a grain feeder on the fence.

I fell into a YouTube wormhole today bingeing Golden Retriever videos. I thought I'd share this one because of health issues created when you neuter a male before a certain age. There's a great increase in joint problems & hip dysplasia if done before one year of age and an increase in cancer. I had no idea so I feel the need to share this info.

With Shelters & Rescues wanting to neuter ASAP before even offering a pet up for adoption, acquiring a male GR is best done from a friend who breeds for fun or a GR Breeder. Probably the ONLY time I'll ever recommend a breeder!
