Lizzy update:
Short story: She's improving every day!
Long story:
As some of you may already know, our clinic cat, Lizzy, was involved in a very scary incident 3 weeks ago. She suffered traumatic injuries to her neck and chest area which left her partially paralyzed. Thanks to the quick thinking of our staff, Lizzy was stabilized and then rushed to the Veterinary Health Center at KSU. She spent the night on pain meds and in an oxygen cage. We are so thankful for the care she recieved there. Everyone was very kind and treated her with so much compassion. We ultimately decided to continue care at the clinic with hopes that she would regain function of her limbs. After a lot of love and physical therapy by our staff, we are so happy to report that she is able to move around again! We are very impressed by her continued improvement! Thank you to all of our clients who have checked in and brought her goodies. She has been spoiled and is loving every minute of it!
*Don't let her picture scowl fool you, she's never smiled for the camera. π*
