Christmas in July derby day at the fairgrounds! Sam and Toby were 8th out 27!! So proud of these two…. Too bad the committee couldn’t arrange for a short snow squall to go with the theme!!! It was a hot one! And thanks to gabby for the festive kick ass braids!

Double tri colors for Mr Toby today at Sussex!! A clean sweep and champion in the pleasure with Bri… and reserve champion in the low adult eq with Sam!!! The heat was brutal but we all made it out unscathed!!

Sooooo proud of these two today at Sussex!!!! After Bonnie pulled some questionable aerobatics in schooling they pulled themselves together and came away with reserve champion in beginner rider!!! Broghan rode great and Bonnie acted like she’s been doing this forever ( second show ever over fences!!!)

Despite the crappiest weather possible… these two had a good day at On Course! Broghan and Bonnie had another day of “firsts”… their first time jumping at at a show ( bothe the kid and the pony!) some homework to do for next time but Broghan kept her cool and rode like a champ and came away with champion! Sam and Toby had some great jumping trips with a 2,3,3,4… Toby likes the “slow” life! So proud of our girls!

Beautiful day at Four Farthing Farm schooling show! Great end to a nice series with Sophia and Bonnie earning champion in the walk/trot 11-17 division, and Sam and Norman champions for the beginner hunter division and series end champions!! Thank you Lori Palmer for running a nice show that gives the “older” kids a chance to get their feet wet in the horse show world!!

Fair week has finally wrapped up… Broghan and Bonnie had a phenomenal “first fair” in the mini stirrup… winning her first class out of quite a large group( and even making her trainers cry!) and continued with a 3,4,5 ! Sam and Toby warmed up in the 2’3 Sussex hunter with a 2,4,6.. and did their first “under the lights” derby… Toby marched around like he did it a hundred times before! And finally Bri and Toby finished the week in the pleasure earning a 3rd,4th and 2 5ths… so proud of all our riders and ponies !!!

Day 1 of the fair is a wrap! Broghan and bonnie made a clean sweep of the walk/trot 10 and under division and champion! Sam and Toby had 2 4ths and a 2 nd in the hack in good company… on to day 2 on Wednesday!

Broghan and baby Bonnie’s first outing at the fairgrounds…. Champion in the mini stirrup! So proud of all of Broghan’s hard work!!! Next stop… the fair!!

Great first benefit show of the season! Sam and Toby dusted off the cobwebs for the low adult hunter and was 3,3,4 and 5….. and 2nd in the medal! Yayyyy toblerone and Sam!

Broghan and Bonnie were back at it today at On Course…. She rode great and even had to deal with one of Bonnie’s “green” moments… but handled it like a champ… so proud of her!

Beyond proud of these two today!!!!! Brohgan’s first show ever … doing the mini stirrup…. And Bonnie’s first show ever… as a 5 yr old… a couple of “baby” moments but overall handled everything as if she’s done it forever! Reserve champion for both of their show ring debuts!!!!

It was a hot one but a successful 1st day of the fair….Sam and Toby were champion in the 2’6 local adult hunter! Special thanks to Cheryll Post and Brianna post for for letting Sam have the ride on toblerone!!!!! Now it’s time for a shower… or maybe 5!

So proud of this kid right here!!!! After a tough “local day” Deni came back and rode Bright n Blue in the short stirrup eq and even won her second over fence class!!!!! Proud trainer right here!!!!!

First day of fair week! Deni’s second time jumping at a show and although she had to work through some kinks she came away with good ribbons! So proud of her riding today!!! Bri and Toby did the pleasure horse and and had two 2nd’s and a 4th! Great riding ladies!!!

So proud of these two today! Very first show doing the short stirrup and she came away with reserve champion!!!! I told Baby to “take care of her today” and he did!!!!

Bri and Toby conquered the heat and rain today at Sussex for a 2nd in the bit o straw and great ribbons the low children’s…. And Jeff Post got to dip his foot in our world with the Father’s Day leadline ….

Dreary start to a good show day at on course! Julian and Sam gave up the jumpers for the day to play in the low adult eq.... with good ribbons! Bri and Toby ended with a reserve champion in pre children’s hunter.... and jenna and baby were reserve in pre children’s pony eq and champion in the hunter! Great job ladies!

A cold and windy start to the show season at Lotus equestrian.....Bri and Toby got great ribbons in the pre children’s eq and hunter... and Cassandra and baby were reserve in pre children’s pony hunter... freezing cold but great day!

So proud of Olivia and Baby!!! Survived COVID shutting down half the shows this season to come out series champion at On Course today in beginner hunter!!!! Way to stick with it kid!!!!

Last day of Sussex ended with our two munchkins in leadline.... Jess on baby rounded out her final season in leadline with a win! And debuting in her first leadline ever was Lena on Garrett with a second place ribbon! So proud of both our girls today!!!

Second day day of Sussex was a success!!!! Sam Kately an Julian worked through some “stuff” to come out with a 3rd and 5th in their jumper divisions today!! And Bri and Toby did their first real derby and finished 4th out of a good group! Good riding ladies! Proud of you both!

First show back in months!!! So proud of Jenna and Bri today! Jenna stepped up to pre-children’s ponies and while Baby has never been a fan of ring 2 ... she worked it out by her third trip... ! So proud of her!!! Bri and toby got great ribbons in pre-children’s horse and reserve champion in the pleasure!!!! On to the derby tomorrow!!!!!

So proud of all girls hard work this season at On Course show series!!! Olivia was series end champion in beginner rider and Jenna was series end champion in beginner hunter both on Baby! Jessie and Garrett were series end champions as well in leadline!!!! It was a great season! On to next year!

Long but beautiful day at the last Sussex show of the season! All our girls rode great as usual!!!! Deni and Garrett were 1st,3rd,4th and 4th in mini stirrup while her sister Ella went on to champion in leadline with Garrett!!!! Jessie and baby were 1st,3rd and 3rd in leadline and were the series end champions!!!! Sam and Julian maintained their champion status in the pre adult jumpers with series end champion as well! Finally, Cassandra and baby were 1st,3rd,4th and 4th in pre children’s hunter pony and were series end champions !!!!so proud of all their hard work!!! Way to guys!

Well.... this years fair is a wrap! Had a great last day yesterday Deni and Garrett did an awesome job in the mini stirrup! I’m so proud on how much they have improved this year! Bri and Toby trucked around the ushja 2’ hunter like pros and managed to land a 7th place in the combined derby of all 3 fence heights! And finally Jess and Ella took on leadline on baby and garret for 3rd and 1st!!!! So proud of everyone!!!!

Finally got time to do some catch up posting from the last 3 days of the fair... Wednesday Cassandra and baby tackled their pre children’s pony hunter division.... and after some hiccups in the over fences classes pulled a 4th in the hack. Kasey and Casper made some enormous improvements this year with some great ribbons in the thoroughbred hunter classes and had any amazing derby round earning 5th place beating their placing from last year... so proud of how far they’ve come! And today Julian and Sam captured the reserve ribbon in the 2’6 jumpers this morning.... so proud of our kids and their ponies!!!!
