What a wild weekend—from the Moonlight Market on Saturday to the Massapequa Park Street Fair on Sunday! Running on just two hours of sleep, we still had an incredible time thanks to our amazing friends. Playing with our furry pals made it all worthwhile! Sorry for the late post—had to catch up on some much-needed rest. And if we missed anyone in the videos, our apologies in advance! We will post a few reels. Be sure to watch them all!

Last Hope Animal Rescue’s thrift store is moving to a bigger and better location! Check them out and support a great cause by shopping for unique items. 🐾

🐕 Bow Wow! Meow!
LAST HOPE THRIFT SHOP is MOVING to a BIGGER STORE Nearby.🐈
🐶New Address: 310 New York Avenue, Huntington 11743.

Last Hope Animal Rescue is quite fortunate our donated items continue to exceed our present space.
In the three and a half years we have been at 274 New York Ave, it seems we have grown from filling and then stuffing a "Cocker Spaniel-size" space to needing a "Great Dane-size" space so we can display all our saleable items in a visible, movable and safe way..

Our new shop has more than double our current square footage. We want our customers & volunteers to be able to tap dance while their magic happens-
** Unwanted Items Sell as Cherished Possessions where all Profits turn into Goods & Services for our Homeless Dogs & Cats.**
We plan to be ready to open this new location on or before February 1, 2025; while continuing to be open for our Tuesday through Saturday sales days (10am-3pm) at 274 New York Avenue during January 2025.

The new shop -310 New York Avenue- is on the same side of the street, about 2 blocks south, closer to Main Street, set back slightly, next to FETCH Dog Grooming, and between Sedoni Gallery and Sur Argentinian Steak House, "catty" corner across the street from the empty Book R***e.

We hope you are as excited about our move and new opportunity as we are. And hope you will help us spread the word about our new location.

Last Hope was "born" in Huntington in 1981, rescued death-due dogs from Huntington Town Shelter and had several thrift shop/secret animal shelters in Huntington back then.
We are thrilled that Last Hope Animal Rescue will continue to shine in Huntington in 2025.

SHARE EVERYWHERE , PLEASE.

What a fantastic event. Unfortunately a small fire at the Preservation Society shut it down sooner then expected. Stay tuned for the new date for the tree and menorah celebrations.
Shoutout to the Wantagh Fire Department for handling the situation and kept everyone safe and minimal damage to the museum

ATTENTION
There was a small fire at the Wantagh Preservation Society. The remainder of the event is cancelled. Wantagh Fire Department has everything under control.
