Kali Ma is one of my favorite dogs to play with. She is so much fun and I have learned a lot from playing with her. I introduced this tug toy to her the first time I met her and we have been best friends ever since. Can't wait for our next play session.

We have been working for several months on preventing lunging and pulling on the leash at other dogs while on a walk. This was where we really tested the training we have been doing, with multiple distractions and triggers, including barking dogs and a guest appearance by Oakley (GR).

I have been working with Charlie for several months. We started with leash walking and handling skills using a slip lead. We then gradually introduced more challenging distractions. Eventually, we switched from the slip lead to a prong collar because the slip lead was no longer effective for more difficult distractions and posed a safety issue. In this video, Charlie is walking on a prong collar.

Off Leash Work with Mia READ MORE BELOW ⬇️
I have recently started taking Mia for long walks around the neighborhood while trailing a long line and wearing an e-collar. What you are seeing here is the progress she has made over a year and a half of work with her. This video is from the first of the two walks we did today. On both walks the e-collar and leash was NOT touched once. I only had to rely on the commands and concepts I taught her, as well as food and praise reward. Mia demonstrates this perfectly. Without me saying anything she realizes she is ahead of me and turns around to wait for me to catch up. I kept the original audio in the video so you can hear that no commands were given. She was only rewarded with verbal praise in this instance.
*Disclaimer: I do NOT recommend pet owners go out and just buy an e-collar. An e-collar is advanced level tool that requires a ton of training and relationship building before it can be used properly. E-Collars have gotten very popular in recent years, but not all dogs and not all situations are right for the use of an e-collar. I prefer to use the e-collar only for recall and off leash walking. Their is of course always exceptions but that is where I think this tool shines in the pet dog training world. Make sure you consult a trainer before using this tool as you can severely hurt your relationship with your dog if you do not know what you are doing
