Sammy is sad but he really shouldn’t be. His application fell through bc the adopter’s vet told her not to adopt a toothless FIV+ cat bc he might scratch their new kitten and spread the virus. The fact that there are vets practicing medicine that believe this can happen, makes me so sad for cats and their owners. This vet will receive a call & email from me so we can get her up to date on the FIV facts. If anyone else would like to send one too, feel free (DM for email)
Sammy is a gentle angel & deserves someone who treats him like the prize that he is. They don’t deserve him & this vet is extremely ignorant. FIV can NOT be spread through a scratch, or sharing dishes, litters, or by grooming each other. Don’t worry Sammy, you’re time is coming ❤️
