Universal Trade Service Boarding Stables Jeff Steinke owner and operator of Universal Trade Service, horse boarding stables. Stalls average in size from 12'x10' - 12'x12. Prices vary on stall features.

Very nice country facility with divided stalls and a manure track that makes cleaning your stall a cinch. Two stalls are available to first come first serve boarders with attached outdoor 40'x12' run outs. Pasture and exercise lots are available at limited sizes and times only. Stables are geared towards the boarder that is interested in saving some money on boarding fees by supplying your own gra

in, bedding and cleaning your own stall. Stable does offer varieties of "small square" hay bales for sale. We currently offer one service only (partial) but, additional services could be added if agreed on. Current prices are as follows: $180 - $225 a month depending on the stall features. Other stable features include: An indoor attached 100'x64' natural and artificially lit arena with dirt/mulch mix footing. Concrete patio type fenced in wash area. Prices are for 1 horse, per month = daily service

$180 - $225 = You get, 1 stall and use of indoor arena, wash area, access to safe road and trail riding, 1 daily feeding and water. Boarder supply's hay, grain and bedding. Hay can be purchased through stable. We sell a variety of grass mixes and alfalfa hay. Prices per bale may vary. We are centrally located just east of I-75 in between Wapakoneta and Lima Ohio. We will also work with overnight, multiple day or week boarders if room is available and proper paper work is presented. Please call and talk to a Manager for current prices. Hay and bedding may be available through Stable for purchase for partial service. Immediate payment is due for the possession of hay or bedding purchased, prices may vary.

Stable currently has the Arena stall available for boarding.

The arena stall is a stand alone stall located in the arena. We offer this stall for those that may not be interested in concrete flooring or side by side horse boarding.

It includes all the benefits that come with standard stalls, sorry no turnout but, rotation of turnout and pasture fields are included.

Stable has one stall available! Text, message or call for details. Monthly board starts at $160. We do the morning feeding/water, you supply your own credentials.

Huge basket lockers are available with every stall to store hay, feed or bedding. Yip, we also sell a nice “grass mix” hay on the premises.

Indoor riding Arena, manure track, concrete wash bays are just some of the benefits we share.

Stall openings usually don’t last long at our facility, contact me to secure a spot.

We have availability!! 2 stalls are open and ready to be filled at UTS.

FIRST come first serve basis. Give me a call or send a text if interested.

$145 a month for one stall partial service, are the current prices. We do the morning feed/water so you don’t have to. You supply bedding, hay and choice of grain. UTS does sell hay when available.

“Happy New Year” from all the staff at UTS Boarding Stables!!

A huge “thanks” goes out to all of our past and present boarders for being a part of our Stable.

A few things to touch basis on for some of you that have not heard about us or our facility.

For the many years that our children were a part of 4H, there were many people along the way that helped us in many “directions” and “angles”. You folks no who you are and we appreciate you once again as we come into the new year!!

With this said, Vicki and I made a decision after our children were finished in the 4H horse business, we’d continue our efforts to operate a stable with the same atmosphere! An atmosphere that focuses on teaching our young riders the efforts and responsibilities that will need to be put forth in owning or leasing such a beautiful animal.

I believe we’ve been successful with our goal and will continue our part with professionalism and pride.

Of course, this does not mean that we just board “young horseman”. We very much so like to see our veteran “horseman” in the stable also. This is where effort, knowledge and responsibilities are displayed. Not only from “veterans” but, parents, grandparents and all the above that make owning or leasing a horse a “very” wonderful experience.

With this said, we wish we had a facility large enough to accommodate all that would like to board with us! Maybe in due time!!

This winter we will reach out again to 4H clubs in the Auglaize and Allen county area to allow arena time during inclement weather. If interested, club advisors should make arrangements with UTS.

We just had one stall open up in the stable and the other is a stand alone stall located in the arena. Both stalls are very nice and easy access to everything available in the barn.

Many thanks goes out to all of you who have contacted UTS for information on availability and/or boarding.

I have to apologize for not having “twice” the size facility to accommodate more clients!!

YES.., we do keep track of calls and “write in” those of you who wish to be put on a waiting list! The list continues to grow!!

Although we may not be able to accommodate those unable to board with us, I’m always on the search for other helpful avenues for our young riders and handlers.

Some good friends of ours many years ago suggested that UTS should look into hosting a Clinic or two on any “horse related” subject decided from the outside groups and parents!!

This decision has been taunting me lately and I’m starting to see “good reason” for the such matter!!

I’m open for suggestions such as; Subjects, Dates, Times and the most important.., “Who”!!

Feel free to “message” or “comment” the page with some ideas and a good explanation or experience of why we think a certain “subject” or “trainer” would fit our area or interest.

I’ll take all suggestions seriously and evaluate a decision with the help of advisors and parents!!

Thanks again for calling onto us at UTS!! We will continue to do our best with what we have available to make owning a “horse or pony” an easy task!!

Quick hello to all that have been following UTS. Although our business is small, we still like to share a good thing with the up and coming horse and pony handlers!

Every Spring I like to advertise here on FB that UTS offers open arena riding to any and all Auglaize County 4H horse clubs during the first part of the season due to inclement weather. This year I’d like to advertise this again but do to a full stable I can only provide little room for parking! Smaller gathers are still very welcome that may include one truck/trailer rig. No problems for bigger rigs housing 4 horses, we’ll get ya parked!!

Again as always, if clubs would like to participate, have your advisers give UTS a call for information and scheduling!!

Thanks to everyone that’s been a part of UTS, we wish the very best to all the 4H clubs participating in this years shows and fairs!! God bless and let’s wish for an early spring so we can let our fury friends stretch their legs sooner than later!!
