Zoey is with us for a 2 week refresher! 🐾

Coming back for a refresher course is a great alternative to boarding your dog while you’re on vacation, or if you feel your dog could benefit from just being brushed back up on their training. 🐶

Spanky is with us for obedience training and some behavior modification! He is a super sweet 1 year old pitbull. He’s learning his obedience commands, working on better manners when it comes to stealing people food, jumping up on people, and play biting. 🐾

Training is all about establishing clear communication between dog and handler, and once you have that you’re able to strengthen your bond and have a more fulfilling relationship founded in respect between you and your dog. This allows you to successfully address and work on teaching them new things, or successfully correcting behavior issues. 🐶

Halligan is with us for our residency obedience program! He is a 6 month old chocolate lab, despite his size he’s very much a puppy still. Halligan is learning all of his obedience commands on and off leash, around distractions, as well as a few specific commands to help with PTSD.
He’s a good boy and loves his training. 🐶🐾

Bo joined us this week for our residency obedience program! He is a 9.5 month old German Shorthaired Pointer. Bo has some common bad habits like pulling on the leash, jumping up on people, and chewing on things that aren’t his toys. He’ll be learning all of his obedience commands as well as learning to have better manners around the house and on walks. 🐶🐾

A spotlight for the dogs here with us for our residency obedience training this month. ⭐️

Keller is an excuberant and very smart 11 month old Border Collie.

Rocky is a 7 month old Coonhound/ Beagle mix and was rescued from the shelter, so he’s a little timid but a sweet boy and enjoying his workouts.

Jax is a 5 year old goldendoodle, who previously went through our residency program and is here for a brush up.

Gunner is a 9 month old German Shepherd who is one of our puppies from Ucario & Aurora, he loves to work and loves to play.

Congratulations to Samuel & Dexter on completing their service dog training! Dexter was trained in tethering to prevent eloping, and tracking incase Samuel does wander off. Great job Samuel and good boy Dexter! 🐾❤️

Pepper is with us for our residency program. We are finishing up his obedience training this week. He is a 9 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Here is he working on his place command. He’s a happy little guy that loves to work. 🐶🐾

AXL Foundation is launching their first fundraiser event and we need your help to make it a success!

AXL Foundation is a 501(c)(3) formed in October 2023 to raise money to provide service dogs for children with special needs. AXL Foundation's fundraiser events will raise money to award scholarships to families to use toward the cost of a service dog from a reputable training agency. Children can benefit from the assistance of a service dog to provide physical safety and/or emotional support.

Meet Ollie! 🐾
Ollie is just one of the dogs currently with us for our residency obedience program. He is a 10 month old Bernedoodle and is a giant puppy who loves to play.
Ollie is currently learning all of his obedience commands both on and off leash, as well as learning good manners and what “no” means.
Obedience training not only educates and helps mature your dog as they learn their commands and practice around distractions, but also gives you the ability to clearly communicate what it is you expect of them. 🐶
