They’re doing great and love to learn. 🐶

Prada joined us for our 4 week residency program! 🐾
She is a 18 month old German Shepherd that is from our Ucario / Aurora breeding. She is learning all of her obedience commands, as well as learning proper manners such as no jumping, pulling on leash, play biting etc.
Formal training is much more than learning obedience commands, it gives the dog an overall education and creates a way for you to truly communicate with your dog and set you both up for success. 🐶

Today is giving Tuesday!
Giving is a natural act of humanity.
Whether it is time, money, love, sacrifice or vision it all is required at some point to make things come to fruition. We believe in giving families a service dog who is trained in life saving tasks. This could include the dog being trained in tracking (search and rescue) to find a lost child who has autism, seizure alert so the dog can pre alert to an oncoming seizure ahead of time so the family is able to get the child/adult to a safe location and or administer emergency medications. Another life saving task is behavior disruption in which the dog will alert to a veteran who is having a PTSD episode. These a just a few but critical needs for our families. Molly is just one example of the many needs we have as an organization to support our mission and to make our giving to these families successful!

Zoey is with us for a 2 week refresher! 🐾

Coming back for a refresher course is a great alternative to boarding your dog while you’re on vacation, or if you feel your dog could benefit from just being brushed back up on their training. 🐶

Spanky is with us for obedience training and some behavior modification! He is a super sweet 1 year old pitbull. He’s learning his obedience commands, working on better manners when it comes to stealing people food, jumping up on people, and play biting. 🐾

Training is all about establishing clear communication between dog and handler, and once you have that you’re able to strengthen your bond and have a more fulfilling relationship founded in respect between you and your dog. This allows you to successfully address and work on teaching them new things, or successfully correcting behavior issues. 🐶

Halligan is with us for our residency obedience program! He is a 6 month old chocolate lab, despite his size he’s very much a puppy still. Halligan is learning all of his obedience commands on and off leash, around distractions, as well as a few specific commands to help with PTSD.
He’s a good boy and loves his training. 🐶🐾
