He may have more days behind him than ahead of him, but that shouldn’t stop him from living his golden years cherished and loved as part of a family.
It’s an inconvenient truth that the larger pups tend to show their age quicker than their smaller canine friends. They turn grey a bit faster and move a little bit slower. By the time pups like Captain reach age 8 they become “disposable” to some humans, and practically invisible on the adoption circuit.
Although he may not be the ideal age of all Captain is certainly one of the most ideal pups. He requires very minimal exercise, but does live a nice comfy bed or couch. He’s a loyal friend and loves all humans, pups and doesn’t even mind the felines. Captain seems to know his basic skills and manners making us think that he was probably once someone’s pet. Like most Great Danes he’s large in size weighing in over 100lbs, but sometimes doesn’t realize it. If you can offer this boy love, a comfy bed, and most importantly a family in his golden year email [email protected] today!
