Afternoon all!! We are gearing up for next week's trip to Pittsburgh, and our BIG Black Friday fundraiser at the TSC in Wappingers. We will have some adult dogs and the puppies available for foster or adoption. Pls plan to come support us!! We will have the ornaments for sale, and pens....as well as, a truck bed for donations of dog food and treats. We will also have some awesome raffles! Pls come join us!! Unfortunately as much food as people bought (thank you so much!!!) feeding 7 rescue dogs, it goes super fast! So we'll be collecting food for the pups!

Right now my goal is to get a little bit of $ for the trip to Pittsburgh....as previously stated I am also getting my potential service dog so i personally will be paying for the hotel, as it too much driving for one day for me. So today being $2 TUESDAY, we're asking everyone to donate their $2 to get that little bit of $ for our trip....we're so excited that Hazel is going to be fostered by a great handler/adopter, Lesley Plaisted!! So pls help us with some expenses.

Some have messaged me asking about the dog I am getting....as many know I have severe RA and I have mobility issues....my Caesar was my boy and I miss him dearly....so I've waited a LONG time for the right dog and I pray this guy cks all the boxes for me! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻I'll keep everyone updated❤️❤️❤️

We have Xmas 2024 ornaments!! Our amazing e board member and fundraising queen, Creations for Donations by Adrienne (GSD rescue fundraising) entrepreneur, Adrienne is making our 2024 ornaments....we will have them for sale starting NEXT FRIDAY, yes Black Friday at TSC in Wappingers! Hello all! Sorry I'm a little late but been a busy morning. A few updates....thank you to whoever bought the pig ears!! These guys absolutely love these and any marrow bones!! I added a few of the marrow bones to our Amazon Wishlist...so if you'd like to help....PLS feel free to purchase any of these items. Also thank you to whoever bought the dewormer!!! That is a HUGE help! I know they aren't cheap so to get 3 boxes is BEYOND super appreciative!!! Excited to let everyone know that we are gonna make the road trip to Pittsburgh, to bring Hazel to her new foster home with Lesley Plaisted! We couldn't be more excited....I'd like to raise a little bit of $ for gas/tolls....I will plan to get a hotel as the drive is too far for one day....so because I am killing 2 birds with 1 stone, as I will be getting that male puppy for myself, I feel as though I should use my own $ for that....so I'm thinking $100-150 for gas and tolls so I'll put our platforms below....I've spoken to a few people off line and I'm going to post my PERSONAL platform as I need to find $600 for the puppy I am getting....this has NOTHING to do with the rescue it's personal so my personal platform would be for obtaining him....pls know I am NOT asking or suggesting people donate to me personally but many know my personal struggle to get a new SD, both emotional and mentally. So should you want to help ME and ME only, feel free to donate to MY OWN platform....other than that we still need to raise $ for deworming/gas tolls to Pittsburgh and revamping our kennel space. In speaking with our new adopter Beth and Randy(who adopted red collar who's now Jax) he suggests NOT to tile BUT to paint our floor....so I am looking for a volunteer/s to help do that...if anyone wants to volunteer to help us do that, that would be very very much appreciated!!
I spent some time today with my neighbor and adopter who adopted Sadie from us...to try and sucker them into fostering Beckett....🤣🤣🤣 I know I'm mean! Lol but man were they adorable!! Beckett is such a doll and we so need to get him a home! Pls pray I convinced Gina he is their next family member😆😆😆😆😆

Afternoon all....we have pens for sale....plan to go out in the mail on Monday-Wednesday....they are $9 for one and $15 for two. They are made by my friend's daughter, Ruthie. They adopted Dante from us who is a GSD x Lab....and Ruthie wanted to help us so she's donating some of the proceeds to us! She's only 9 and I think that's wonderful that at this age, she wants to help!! So let's get these pens sold for our pups!

Ok everyone....new name for Finn is.....Jack!! And he LOOKS like a Jack!!! I absolutely love Falco too, so we are gonna name our next male, Falco!! We happen to have several females this time and Beckett was already chosen! Thank you for some great names!!!

Ok moving on...we got some pics of the puppies from our foster Suzanne Jennings and OMG how can you not fall head over heels!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️ pls know these guys are up for adoption so pls message us if you are interested!!

Unfortunately our sweet Hazel was not a happy camper in her new crate....I moved her as this one was much bigger but she was like "yah nope I don't like this!" Soooo she bent it so bad it's not salvageable.....so I'm looking to replace that one crate. I have posted our Amazon Wishlist so should anyone want to help to replace it OR get the pups some pig ears here is the list! Ok guys we need some help here...I'm stoked to say we got 2/3 puppies adopted and I'm 99% sure Hazel as well....which I'm so happy about....unfortunately some not so great news is the puppies have worms...tape worms so we need to deworm them AGAIN....as well, both Sue(where Maisie is and 7 puppies are)and myself have to treat the adult rescues AND our own dogs as they are share a common yard. So we need to do fecals and we need to get a few bottle of the dewormer below...so I'm hoping that since it's Friday, we can do a

$5 FRIDAY
fundraiser....if we can get at least 50 people to donate their $5, we'd be set. PLEASE help us!!

Evening everyone!!! What a day....I'm exhausted....so few things...thank you to whoever sent the pig ears!!! The dogs love them!!! Thank you !!

We've narrowed down Finn's new name.....with Falco or Jack....pls vote below:)))

Our red collar boy went home to his new family!! We couldn't be happier for Beth, Roman and Randy! Even more excited as Randy has agreed that instead of the adoption fee, we've agreed to barter...so he's going to make me a custom crate to hold 2 dogs. He measured the space in our kennel today and I cannot wait!!!! Thank you guys!! Jax is going to be spoiled rotten. I am also happy to say that we discounted their adoption fee as they are first responders and military.....Thank You both for your service and pls keep us posted on Jax's new life!!

We've got a ton more updates but I specifically wanted to share this video...this is my friend's daughter Ruthie who is making the German Shepherd pens....how cute is she!!?? She's on a roll with this and will be at our next fundraiser on Black Friday at TSC with her pens!! Ok guys....been a little busy trying to keep up....we still have a male puppy here in NY....anyone interested?? As well, we are HAPPY to donate to a disabled veteran as a companion dog....so pls message us! We also wanted to inform our supporters that if we have someone who wanted one of our adult dogs, but you can't afford the adoption fee all up front, we will ABSOLUTELY work with you. I also wanted to let people know that I am confident that Carmen/Finn(see below for new name choices) and even Beckett would be AWESOME companion dogs!! So please message us if you wanted to meet any of them....man I'll tell you we got some AMAZING pups this cycle!! Pls help us get these guys a home for the holidays....

So good news and bad news....I am super stoked to inform everyone that we potentially have a home for Hazel!!!! Our adopter Lesley who adopted Kevin, has had her eye on Hazel...while Hazel is a doll, I firmly believe she has Dutch/Mal in her....and I think I want someone who has experience with working dogs to foster/adopt her...AND Lesley has working dog experience....which is great!! So the plan is for me to take Hazel to Pittsburgh, the Thanksgiving Tuesday, and to then pick up another puppy, from Nick, one of our transports, who I am PRAYING will be my next SD and head back....Nick thinks this pup he has will suit my physical needs in a SD....so im so excited! This that trip is gonna be a lot on me, as It's about a 6.5/7 hour one way...but it works out as I can make sure Hazel is good with Kevin and I can pick up the puppy....never been to Pittsburgh so I'm actually excited to go, though I know my RA is not gonna be happy with me AND we have a BIG fundraiser/adoption event on Black Friday!! So ANY help we can get on Black Friday @ TSC in Wappingers would be super helpful! Pls message the page if you can help us:)

These little devils are a handful....our red collar boy goes home tomorrow with his new family , (Beth and Randy) and we couldn't be MORE excited!!! But that means this little blue collar turkey needs a home....he's one of the ones who's ears have been standing since we rescued him! So let's get this boy a home or donate him to a disabled veteran....

Also....Ruthie is on a roll selling her cute German Shepherd pens....we will be picking them up this weekend, and shipping them out early next week. They are $9 or 2 for $15...ALL proceeds go directly to the rescue...thank you Ruthie. She will ALSO be with us at our next fundraiser/adoption event on Black Friday at in Wappingers! Mark it down and stop by to help us "Stuff The Trunk" with dog/cat food & treats.

PLS someone adopt this boy b4 he becomes GSD # 5 for me....between all the dogs we have now....OMG they are all just soooooo super sweet and friendly!! THESE are the dogs who DESERVE to be saved and it breaks my heart to see dogs like this in shelters....I'm overwhelmed with the amount we have but man, I am thrilled that we were able to save them!! They do deserve a home for the holidays!! So let's get these guys adopted!!

Great news is that somehow someway I suckered Kevin's adopter to " foster" Hazel!!! 😘😘😘 (shhhh don't tell her that once she gets to know Hazel there is NO WAY she's going to NOT adopt her 😆😆😆) So I'm going to make the road trip, which I think is 8 hours from me, to Pittsburgh and bring Hazel to Leslie.....Hazel is an absolute sweetheart and is dog friendly....so keep your fingers crossed this works....well keep everyone updated on that front....in the meantime pls share our pinned posts above so hopefully we can get some adopted for the holidays!!

This boy has stolen my heart....we have absolutely No idea about his past life...but he loves people....all our guys do! We truly have some special dogs this time around....so we need a new name for this boy....can't do Finn as we had a Finnigan, and my female is named Finity...so we need to come up with a good strong but sweet boy name....let's see whatcha got....

I just wanted to thank those of you who sent an item/s from our Amazon Wishlist. Unfortunately so many of them came with no names as to who sent them....BUT PLEASE know how thankful we are...these guys are eating super healthy and getting treats DAILY, THX to you all!! So THANK YOU!

Lastly, a friend of mine's daughter is a little entrepreneur....she makes all kinds of items to sell....she's only 9! Well her mom, Luz (who's an adopter) texted me and showed me these adorable pens Ruthie made, and she told me Ruthie wants to donate some $ to us!! Ok everyone...been a bunch of busy days!! One of our amazing supporters and her husband Randy, are adopting our red collar boy, named Jax:)! We are so excited. We still have 10 puppies left with at least 5 to be donated to disabled veterans. If you'd like to be considered, PLS message the page.

I'm really bummed as we've gotten food, pig ears and some other treats but no reciept. Below is what I've gotten....PLS know how grateful we are, and PLS let us know what you purchased. We said we had a surprise yesterday and I'm am ABSOLUTELY beyond humbled, that we were able to donate this little girl to her new owner, Pop pop...Pop pop is a disabled veteran and our first recipient of the donated puppy program we are doing from Hazel's puppies! We're all overwhelmed, worn out, tired and stressed out with the state of the animal welfare community within the US, but THIS....THIS is why we do this!! And I want to especially thank those of you who donated to this liter, as we're able to donate some of these guys, fully vetted, to disabled veterans because we got the donations we've gotten!! So thank you!

Enjoy this precious moment, thank you to Mia for getting this baby to Pop pop, and thank you Pop Pop for your service to our beautiful country!!

Pls keep our veterans, military and first responders in your thoughts and prayers everyday!

Ok so a quick update....Ill be back later with a more in depth update.....soooo first of all we've been NON STOP since 10 am this morning, after a very long day on Friday. So for those who saw me today....I don't normally look that disheveled! Lol my apologies! But the awesome news is that 2/3 puppies have been adopted!!! Our one female and one male. I am waiting on some info, and once that comes in, I'll be more specific....it's absolutely wonderful news! Stay tuned! Congrats to Mia and to Beth and handy Randy and we look forward to your puppy updates.

So with being said, we'd like to continue to get these guys homes. We've got several people interested so I'm weeding through those now. If you want to foster or adopt, pls message the page asap. The process is phone consult, M&G, vet/home ck, adoption contract and $575 adoption fee. The fee includes a fully vaccinated dog, and altered in Dec of 2025. There is ALSO a REFUNDABLE $150 deposit for having to wait to spay/neuter as we do not believe in pediatric spay/neuter. We will also provide 2 months worth of flea/tick/HW meds. All puppies will be fully vetted through us.

Pls also DO NOT FORGET, we have some amazing older dogs also who are looking for their forever homes, including, Hazel. Carmen. Finn(who needs a new name....can you guys help us come up with a new name pls). Pls message the page if you want to move forward in meeting any of our pups!

Lately, we need puppy pads, paper towels, cleaning supplies, baby wipes and some long chewable treats. We ALSO need dewormer, and we need rubber stall mats and a few new crates. We have been slowly fixing up and revamping our space, and at this point it's time to start getting new items. The tiling will be done soon along with getting the slop sink added. I am thrilled with how things are coming along so we just need only a few more items!!

Right now I am housing 8 rescue dogs and while i can add more, that is enough for now.

Things have been fantastic and we're looking forward to our next fundraising/adoption event at TSC in Wappingers on Black Friday!! My GOAL is to get all puppies and our 7 adults their forever homes by years end! Help us do that.

Okkkk so a few updates...I think we're out of the woods. Puppies had 2 solid poops this morning!!! As one of our e board members said, you're either a animal lover or a mother when we get excited for P**P!!' Isn't that the truth. Pls keep these guys in your thoughts and prayers as I think we're good to go, but a few extra prayers definitely don't hurt.

I am over the moon excited and blessed, as we have an anonymous supporter who is absolutely amazing to us, VERY often. Well this person texted me and told me they paid the bill at Poughkeepsie Animal Wellness!! You know who you are and we are soooo incredibly blessed to have your amazing support!! Thank you never seems like enough, BUT THANK YOU! That is just beyond generous!!

PLS someone adopt this boy b4 he becomes GSD # 5 for me....between all the dogs we have now....OMG they are all just soooooo super sweet and friendly!! THESE are the dogs who DESERVE to be saved and it breaks my heart to see dogs like this in shelters....I'm overwhelmed with the amount we have but man, I am thrilled that we were able to save them!! We said we had a surprise yesterday and I'm am ABSOLUTELY beyond humbled, that we were able to donate this little girl to her new owner, Pop pop...Pop pop is a disabled veteran and our first recipient of the donated puppy program we are doing from Hazel's puppies! We're all overwhelmed, worn out, tired and stressed out with the state of the animal welfare community within the US, but THIS....THIS is why we do this!! And I want to especially thank those of you who donated to this liter, as we're able to donate some of these guys, fully vetted, to disabled veterans because we got the donations we've gotten!! So thank you! Enjoy this precious moment, thank you to Mia for getting this baby to Pop pop, and thank you Pop Pop for your service to our beautiful country!! Ok so a quick update....Ill be back later with a more in depth update.....soooo first of all we've been NON STOP since 10 am this morning, after a very long day on Friday. So for those who saw me today....I don't normally look that disheveled! Lol my apologies! But the awesome news is that 2/3 puppies have been adopted!!! Our one female and one male. I am waiting on some info, and once that comes in, I'll be more specific....it's absolutely wonderful news! Stay tuned! Congrats to Mia and to Beth and handy Randy and we look forward to your puppy updates. So with being said, we'd like to continue to get these guys homes. We've got several people interested so I'm weeding through those now. If you want to foster or adopt, pls message the page asap. The process is phone consult, M&G, vet/home ck, adoption contract and $575 adoption fee. The fee includes a fully vaccinated dog, and altered in Dec of 2025. There is ALSO a REFUNDABLE $150 deposit for having to wait to spay/neuter as we do not believe in pediatric spay/neuter. We will also provide 2 months worth of flea/tick/HW meds. All puppies will be fully vetted through us. Pls also DO NOT FORGET, we have some amazing older dogs also who are looking for their forever homes, including, Hazel. Carmen. Okkkk so a few updates...I think we're out of the woods. Puppies had 2 solid poops this morning!!! As one of our e board members said, you're either a animal lover or a mother when we get excited for POOP!!' Isn't that the truth. Pls keep these guys in your thoughts and prayers as I think we're good to go, but a few extra prayers definitely don't hurt. I am over the moon excited and blessed, as we have an anonymous supporter who is absolutely amazing to us, VERY often. Well this person texted me and told me they paid the bill at Poughkeepsie Animal Wellness!! You know who you are and we are soooo incredibly blessed to have your amazing support!! Thank you never seems like enough, BUT THANK YOU! That is just beyond generous!! I'm so in love with this sweet thing!!! She's such a doll! Pls let's get her adopted.... Carmen is roughly 3 years old. Crate and potty trained, an absolute love. She loves people and is always happy. She's UTD, spayed and loves her treats. No doubt in my mind she's been a mama as her nipples were huge when they found her, as a stray on the side of a dirt road in AL. How heartbreaking....so is good with larger male dogs and I'd love to see her with a family as she's so incredibly sweet. Besides she's so pretty!! She is one of the reasons why I want to feed our rescues good food. Lord only knows what she was consuming while a stray. Pls let's share her and get her adopted for the holidays. We still may need a few funds here or there to treat anything that comes up, but I am sending our foster $2000k today!! The goal is to adopt out 6 puppies to adopters so if you want a pet puppy, pls message the page and we'll get the ball rolling. They will be ready for their homes the first week of December. Pls know we will NOT be spaying or neutering them till AT LEAST December of 2025, we do not believe in pediatric spaying or neutering. There will be a $150 fee on top of the adoption fee for us to hold and a strict contract that you must sign forbidding anyone from using these puppies for breeding. Once spayed/neutered you will get the $150 back. For the remaining 6 puppies we will DONATE them to ANY first responders or military or veterans as a companion /ESA dog....if that's you, pls message the page. I think everyone knows how much donating these puppies means to me. My son has been gone 12-14 hours a day fighting the wild fire in Dover, my dad is a veteran, my yonger brother works for the MA FEMA and went to Asheville to help after Helene and my niece just joined the MA National Guard, so we are a service family and that's why this is so personal for me to give back to those who give to us!
