Even the hyper hound dog, Billet, can find peace and calm at the vet... basic commands with a lot of love and patience goes a long way.

Sunday is chill and watch Nascar Day in our home. Poor Billet got up to get a drink, and Anja stole his usual spot on the couch. If I listen closely, I can almost hear him saying, "mooooom, I called seatback. Make her move, pleeeease"

This video is just some Saturday silliness...

Billet, the hound, helps looooves to keep Harold (the a$$hole) busy while I'm in the yard. Harold is a rooster as you can see and he doesn't care that I often bring him and his bi***es strawberries, grapes, crackers and other yummy things. When I'm out minding the yard, he will pretend to be eating grass/bugs yet as soon as my back is turned, he will get me from behind.

Am I afraid of him? Yup! And he knows it.

Allergies got us back to the vet... I'm so proud of these two, chilling and relaxing, as asked, while waiting for the vet. Exams went off without a hitch! Lots of praise from everyone on staff!

As 2023 was marching on, I found myself needing more.

I had put Tee Bone away after the first wave of restrictions for covid came into play. I wasn't sure how to stay open. I wasn't sure how to keep everyone safe and continue to serve my community's needs. In the end, I believe we all lost out on some good times together.

That said, on Monday, February 13th 3023, I finally allowed myself to accept that I missed this. I miss training dogs. I miss teaching families. I miss community.

And then, I needed a vet for my boy... 2/17, the new vet and staff I was blessed to meet, kept saying how well-behaved Justus was even though he felt like sh¡t.. and I was like, yeah, he is. And I know my clients have those proud pet parent moments, too. It was confirmation I could only dream of, to get back to doing what I love and am passionate about.

So, I announced the other night that we are back. And we are. However, I am down a few family members, geographically, as they are still back in Massachusetts. So my grandsons and daughter won't be involved. You read that right. They are in Massachusetts... and now, my training and teaching journey begins in Georgia. I have family here. I have Paul and our cat Oscar... you'll be seeing my helpers as often as I can get them to assist 🥰

2020 caught all of us off guard. I am disappointed in myself for not staying in touch here. I hold each and everyone here dear to my heart. As so many have experienced, I was hit with major trauma in 2020. More than one actually, and I know I'm not alone. I won't go into all of the details right now as this isn't about that. My main goal here is to let you know I love and cherish all of you. I'm sorry if you felt abandoned. I could have done better. I am here now and available via dm or phone consult if we are not close enough for in person visits.

You will notice a change here and there. Including me. I am New ☀️ and improved

Remember, everything in life is temporary. 2020 taught us all how true that statement is. I'm embracing this new Georgia life I'm creating. And I'm excited to bring you along.

Oh Justus... My boy. My heart dog 💜. He has not been feeling well for a while. Skin and tummy issues have him losing weight, fur and completely miserable... We've been to the vet, tried different foods and creams, and shampoos.

Well, today, we found new symptoms that just had to be addressed today. We ended up seeing a new vet as our regular Dr closes early on Friday's. I'm very pleased with this young man's behavior and the vibes of the staff and environment. I'm forever grateful they found a spot for us in less than an hour notice 🙏 🥰
