About the Groomer
Lisa originally worked in the equine industry. Her early passion for animal husbandry had her in the barn most days. Lisa spent years learning as much as possible about caring for horses, from daily routines to show grooming.
In 2006, Lisa graduated from Delaware Valley University with a bachelors degree in large animal studies, with a focus on training and behavior.
In 2007, Lisa was introduced to the small pet industry with her first pet grooming position. Although she had always had a dog or cat in the home growing up and had occasionally done some pet sitting, this was her first glimpse into the professional pet grooming industry. She found the transfer from large to small animal enjoyable and decided to pursue it further. Lisa continued working for the grooming business for nearly 8 years, with a brief break for personal reasons.
Lisa started this house call service in early 2018. Pampered Pups House Call Grooming, LLC is a fully licensed business, is fully insured, and Lisa is canine first aid and CPR certified. Her goal is to provide a reduced stress environment and enjoyable grooming sessions for both pet and owner, while still being able to provide a personal service.
