Due to the amount of visitors at our booth the last 2 days, I've had to bottle fresh product both nights to restock the following morning!

I just realized today is the first day of "NO-SHAVE NOVEMBER"!!
It's also the first real day I've had a chance to catch up in the shop/honey house!
Gotta get er done today, as tomorrow we cut firewood!

I was honored to speak to a wonderful group of beekeepers this past Thursday evening!
Leather Stocking Beekeepers Association meets at the Farmers Museum in Cooperstown.
The topic was "Getting our bees through winter"
Thank you for asking me to share my experiences in beekeeping in Upstate NY!
This was my last scheduled stop of the "MEET YOUR BEEKEEPER TOUR 2025"!

"Kids don't wanna work these days!"
It's always nice to know that some still do!
Logan comes over to help me with odds and ends once in awhile. A 12 year old that ain't afraid of anything, including a good days work!
He doesn't leave the splitter, and Honey doesn't leave his side!

Harvested the last frame of our 2025 honey season at 10:00 last night!
Certainly didn't hit our goal for the season. Dry conditions didn't allow late season blooms to produce the volume of nectar we're used to seeing here. Our fall pull produced a variety of lighter goldenrod to the very dark Knotweed honey, and everything in between!
Just gotta give the tanks a final drain this mornin, clean up, and get the honey supers stored for winter!

Good Monday mornin friends!
Our last scheduled stop for the "Meet Your Beekeeper Tour 2025" is October 23 at Leatherstocking Beekeepers in Cooperstown.
The talk will cover preparing and getting our bees through winter.
Ive had a blast this year at every event. Meeting new friends, addressing new issues, and helping new beekeepers get headed in the right direction!
I'm already lookin forward the what the 2026 Tour has to offer!

As we use up our old label stock with our original logo, we're switching over to our new labels!
Same great product with a new look!
We'll be setup at Middleburgh's Harvest Festival today with samples of all our honey products that are produced and harvested from our bees right here in Schoharie County!
We're excited to announce that our first batch of Pumpkin Spice Creamed honey for the season is ready!
