we always sell our butt nuggets with the bloom intact, but if they've already been refrigerated, they should stay refrigerated 💕 refrigerated eggs with the bloom intact can last up to 3 months! but if they're getting up there in age, it's always good to do a float check.

Lacey, a Dominique, just started laying today!
Penny, who I *think* is our first layer of the newbies. I get an egg every day from her! She's a Golden Buff, otherwise known as a Red Sex-Link.
Gertrude, who I also call Derp. she lays cool green eggs! She's a Lakeshore Egger.

first time witnessing one of the hens waiting in line for their favorite spot 😂 also, we have a new layer!! say hello to Sophia, who could NOT leave her egg after she laid it, and kept yelling about it 😂 and that's Blanche on the right! names have been established for the first four chickens, still figuring out the other ones.

caught the egg song for the first time! - the egg song is a specific clucking and loud noise that hens will do after they lay an egg. some say it's to celebrate, or to boast about the work she just did! but either way, it's too cute.
