We are now collecting sponsorships for this year’s K9 Choper Memorial Golf Tournament. Listed below are the sponsorship levels for the tournament. Sponsorship letters can be picked up at the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. If no letter is needed, you can send your donation to the Blueberry Hill Golf Course listed below.

If you or your business would like to donate, please message Scott Neiswonger, Thomas Kibbey or Karen Sobkowski, so we can drop a letter off to you or your buisness.

Here is the donation letter for our annual basket raffle for the K9 Choper Tournament. The 7th annual tournament will be held July 7th at the Blueberry Hill Golf Course.

If you would like to donate a basket for this years raffle, please have your baskets at the Hampton Inn located in North Warren or Blueberry Hill GC by June 7th. Tickets will be on sale on June 10th and will run till after the tournament.

If you need a basket picked up, please contact Karen Sobkowski or Linda Brown Neiswonger and arrangements will be made.

Today is a bitter sweet day for me. I’m torn in so many directions on all of the great times we had and then ultimately losing you. K9 Choper was my partner, my guardian and my best friend. We did so much together and had such great time during the short time you were with me.

I worked so hard to become a K9 Officer and then I got you. That is all I dreamt about from when I was young and it finally happened. With the hard work and so much support from our wonderful Warren community, God gave me you. I couldn’t have done it without our amazing community. Knowing everyone had our back, we did the best we could for our community and I wouldn’t have changed a moment... up until I lost you buddy.

The day I lost you was hands down the hardest day of my life. So many feelings I still have to this day. I cherish all of our good times together and will never forget them till the day I die. I love you buddy and keep watching out for me and K9 Nic. Miss you more then words can say.

Thank you everyone for your support from the beginning up to even today. Thanks for your kind words and reaching out. It truly means more then you will ever know.

RAFFLE UPDATE!!!!

We wanted to reach out to everyone about the raffle. Governor of PA has issued a two week hold on several activities, stores and gatherings. I have spoke with North Warren firehall president and they have suspended all of their events up till April as of this date 3/16.

The raffle is on April 4th and if it is determined that we can not have the raffle that day, another date will be selected in the months to come. In the event that happens, you will be contacted and given the new date. If this does not work for you or your family then arrangements will be made to get you the money back.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Fingers crossed we can still have the raffle as this will be a major fundraiser for our police dogs, but I want to make sure we are all safe as well. We will post something in the event it is cancelled and will be notifying everyone at that time.

They made poster boards of photos and news articles thanking Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers and his foundation for the funds that helped purchase K9 Nic and K9 Dina.

They took the posters to Steelers training camp last week and when Big Ben himself saw them he was kind enough to autograph them!!!!

We are please to announce that we are holding the second annual K9 Choper Memorial Golf Tournament on July 21st this year. We had such great success last year and because of this tournament we were able to purchase K9 Nic.

This tournament was started last year to remember K9 Choper EOW 6/6/18 and to raise money to help offset some of the costs of having a police K9 team in Warren County. This year we are pleased to announce that this tournament will not only be helping with costs for K9 Nic but also help pay for the addition of another K9 unit at the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, K9 Dina and Deputy Thomas Kibbey.

Attached is a donation letter and also a team sign up letter if you would like to play in the tournament. This tournament filled up fast last year so please sign up fast. Everyone playing in the tournament must call the Blueberry Hill Pro Shop and sign up.

Thank you everyone and let’s make this as big as a success for K9 Dina as it was for K9 Nic.
