“Sadie was not only our first dog, but our first child. Both of us had never had a dog before, and we wanted to be the best parents possible for her and give her the best possible life." Snugglebug Sadie is a cuddly companion who loves to press her paw against you. When she’s not snuggling, she enjoys playing catch with her owners. Sadie also relishes basking in the sun, seeking out sunny spots around the house and shifting her position as the sun moves. Her pet parents affectionately call her a super chewer, as she can destroy any toy in under a minute, no matter how durable it is. However, she knows to leave other items alone, only chewing on her personal belongings.

Her family said, “Sadie came into our lives at a really troubling time for us and really saved us from depression. We did our research and found MAI had everything we were looking for and more. Honestly, Sadie absolutely loves it here. As soon as we make the turn into the parking lot, her happy butt shake is on. And when we get to the front door, she starts barking so EVERYONE there knows that she has arrived. Nowhere else, including when she comes home or goes anywhere else does she have this kind of reaction. It is truly unique to come into MAI. And once she gets inside, she runs up to everyone she sees to greet them. And the staff treat her like a princess. We see it every time we come to drop her off or pick her up. They glow with excitement to see her and she knows it and returns the affection 10-fold. Even though we are sad to put her in lodging to go on extended trips, we are always comforted to know she is happy there and the staff will take good care of her. We include the bedtime tuck-ins as part of her daily stay to get her an extra pamper and snuggle session before bed.”
