Here some pictures from Mini 4H Horse and Pony show! Saylor and Destiny did amazing! Can't forget Addi and Shelbey in their Contesting classes! This year was Addi's 3rd year and Shelbey's 1st year in Horse and Pony!

We just finished the longest week ever! So proud of Addi and Shelbey! They both placed in most of their classes!! And of course my two mini riders Saylor and Destiny!

This is what I love about giving horse back riding lessons!

This year was a toughest one for me with loosing 2 of the greatest lesson horses in less then 3 months part from each other and changing my herd completely by down sizing and starting younger horses.

Hank, Tess, and Spirit are well worth their weight in gold. They taught so many Littles how to ride and improve their horsemanship skills. They were willing and very forgiving! They are beyond amazing horses!

This text had me in tears! The thank you letters I get in the mail always brings me to tears! The family Christmas cards I receive from my lesson families brings me to tears!

Teaching riding isn't easy. Riding horses isn't easy. There were many days I didn't have it in me to go outside to do chores or to get ready to give riding lessons. But seeing these kids running up the driveway to the barn so excited to be on our farm, chasing kittens, collecting chicken eggs, helping me water all the animals and then getting to learn the love of horses totally reminded me how much I needed to continue for them and how much joy it brings me to teach them!

I told him it's not going to be an easy ride like his late horse Zallon.
Rain hasn't been rode in a couple of years but our first ride together last night went pretty smooth!

Horse time for fall break! 🍂🍁

These 2 sisters have done amazing this year! Their horsemanship, ability to ride and their confidence around the horses have improved so much this year! Every lesson has been full of smiles, giggles and laughs! I can't wait to see them ride for their 3rd year with me next year!

Fair was great success this year for Addi and her horses! This is her 2nd year in Horse and Pony! She took 2 new horses to fair this year.
She placed in just about every class she entered!

Fair is over!

Jace is officially done with his mini years in 4H! He had such a blast this year running around with all his buddies! Ellie Jane was mad that she can't ride yet! Only a couple more years and she gets to begin minis!
