Each day our new sweet girl trusts a bit more.

This sweet girl continues to settle in. She seems to be taking to her new surroundings and is curious about everything going on around her. She always comes right up to the front of the stall to see what everyone is doing, and frequently nickers at us. She is doing great on her refeed program and her body is doing well with the appropriate diet. Tonight she even took her new feed concoction right out of the pan while I was trying to bring it in to her. š„°
I finally captured Superman doing one of his funny belly itches. The first time I saw him doing it out in the field I almost had a heart attack and thought something was wrong, only to beeline it down to the pasture and discover him having a good old scratch fest. š Goofy horse! #supermanssalvationanimalrescue

Such a great night getting to watch our son, Sam, run our sponsored flag for the rescue in our local rodeo! Him and his trusty mare looked amazing together. (Sam is in the pink shirt, riding the palomino mare, and the light blue flag). I love that he did a great job representing our rescue out there! ā¤ļø
