I can not be more happy and proud of this mare here!! She had a very rough start, from being malnourished to getting diagnosed with lymes and epm. She is 3yrs old and finally getting the proper muscling and using her body correct in my rehab program. She is going to be an all star jumper when we are done with her. This mare is one that she is mentally ready for more, but we are the trainer need to take it slow to not over due it on her body and structure before she is properly adjusted and muscled up.
Thank you Hannah Schmader for trusting me with your girl!!!
This boy here went from scared and blowing, to listening and waiting for his riders ques in just 3 months of slow and steady work. It has been a very good journey with this boy and I see bright things in his future!!! Still so much to do, but so happy with his progress at this point. Letting these guys speak to me and helping them become the horse they are bred for really makes my heart melt 💓.
Only 1 month away until the WNY Equifest!! Come on out and see us in action. Clinic on "2 hearts 1 bond" 925-1030a Saturday the 15th of March in the showplex arena. Come out and see how I gain a bond with a 2-year-old stallion safely. Then, at the end, I'll show the full results in my Mustang Keez. We also have a booth, come on over to C10, and speak to us in person. If you would like information on training of any kind post the word training in the comments.

This boy will w/t/c under saddle, has an awesome stop on him, and responds very well to leg and seat pressure. He is showing promise for a ranch style ride and/or maybe some barrels and poles. He would make a good 4h project for someone as well. Message me for more information at 814-598-2175. The hard part is done and he is such a great horse, help me help him get his human!!!
This little girl girl sure can get her backend up and moving now. Not all training sessions are pretty especially with the mustangs, they typically have issues with things behind them. As you can see miss skye is definitely not a huge fan of the ropes being behind her. She learned to buck and get the rope up under her tail and we would have to stop and get it out. I was able to get her to be chill for a lap or 2 then we ended the session. Looking for those little positive steps forward during every session are what gains you trust and understanding for each other. I love working on long lining to help them get to know how they can move without you beside them and it helps build up their confidence without the handler at their head. Stay tuned to see how she comes around and does after a few sessions.
I can not say how much these moments here mean. This boy came in scared out of his mind and not able to work through those fears. We have been able to help this boy learn to lean on his handlers and work through his fears and moments like this warm my heart ❤️. He is going to make a great horse just needed time and the right person to guide him and show him how to turn his fear into confidence and trust his riders.
My assistant and I have been working him for 2.5 months and have listened and helped him in ways he was able to process everything and have taught him to enjoy his work not fear it. I have actually done a lot of work with him from the saddle of another horse. Due to the fact he didn't trust people too well I brought one of my confident boys out and worked him that way and helped show him we are good, then we started sitting on him while I was on the other horse and ponying him from other horse with rider and adding cues from above slowly. Now we can get on him and ride around arena without me ponying him. Slow and steady pays off! Paying attention and listening to the horses pays off as well. You can try and tell them what to do every step of the way, but if you ask and listen to their needs it goes smoother and quicker, you'll also have a better more connected mount.
This moment here.... words can not explain how good this makes me feel.
Keez has had some major trust issues and had made it known that he has chosen me to be by his side. He is my 6yr old devils garden mustang, and this was the first time a kid has ever been on his back, let alone cantering him around and he is listening to her every step of the way. This is my niece and she is an awesome little rider, but she is a beginner rider!! This melts my heart ❤️ and proves that keez is happy where he is and is willing to work. She has been after me to ride and work him every time she is up to the barn, so yesterday I caved and said let's see how he does. This horse never ceases to amaze me!!
I absolutely love helping people get their horses back to the way they should be!!
This little mare was bought as a hot mess and thankfully she ended up with the people she did. She now has a chance and will become the athlete she wants to be.
I am helping them rehab the 3yr old back and get her up to her full potential after being diagnosed with lymes and epm. With getting her the medicine she needs and getting her nutrition back to normal this mare is becoming quite the mover. She has a ways to go and a lot of trial and error to make sure her strength gets better!!
If you have a horse that needs rehab message me for details at 814-598-2175, every horse gets a different type of rehab depending on what they having going on. I have rehabbed a lot of horses, from behavioral to structure rehab.
I can not be more proud of how far this boy is coming!!!
He came in shut down and terrified of stepping wrong, we have very slowly worked him and taught him to trust us every step of the way and relax through his work. One of my biggest beliefs with young horses is slow and steady gets you further than frying their mind and making them hate their life. If you teach them to enjoy and have fun then the rest comes so easy to them, help them through things they become amazing horses!! Force them into it and they become a very fearful animal! No one wants an animal that fears everything and everyone.
This boy has come so far and is actually relaxing with the leg up and over and watching while it's being done. He had to learn and understand all of this.
It was cold, but it was worth it!! Not only does it relax my mind but it helps the horses relax their minds as well!!!
Have a horse you want to send in for training, message me for details and get your stall booked today!!! 😀
Love taking young horses out on trail to give them a chance to see the world and give their brains the proper breaks they need. Also teaches them that it is not playtime being around other horses.
