When putting these videos together, we realized they don’t really do the job justice. There is so much cleaning and disinfecting … kennels, bedding, bowls, outdoor yards, indoor yards … a lot! The employees are also constantly checking the dogs and cats for health issues. We have a safety program they make sure is being followed. They help with light office work like putting away donations, preparing adoption paperwork, printing kennel cards. We are lean organization with a lot of muscle power to get stuff done. Again, because of donations - we receive no government funding - we have a valued team who love their job. We rarely highlight the behind the scenes work in saving lives. We have 9 employees who cover am and pm shifts, 2 per shift, every day - weekends and holidays included. As you will see, they facilitate introductions with prospective adopters, care for unexpected mama dogs and her pups, facilitate play groups, and care for over 180 puppies adopted this year.
