Hello everyone. I would like to address how dangerous and difficult cat grooming can be because we have gotten a couple not so happy customers about not being able to complete their groomings.
The cats well being and the groomers well being is held to the utmost importance. If the cat is uncomfortable, scared, thrashing and jumping around, it could get set off into a seizure. It could change the cats behavior patterns for a while or to the point where it will never be comfortable being groomed again. We care SO much about your babies just like they are our own. If we feel it necessary to stop, we will. For the groomers, cat bites and scratches are so dangerous for infection that even the smallest bite or scratch HAS sent us to urgent care and we have to be out of work for weeks sometimes. Our hands are our livelihood and how we make our money.
I (the owner) learned how to groom cats from Eric (the previous owner) who had been grooming cats for so long. I considered him a professional so I consider myself a professional. Eric and I taught Courtney how to groom cats. So I consider her a professional. We take so much pride when customers request to groom their difficult, scared, and even tranquilized babies. We love a challenge, but we also know when to call it quits. It’s always the cats best interests that we have in our minds and in our hearts. Thank you for everyone who took the time to read this.
