🐾🩵💡On The Spot Light💡🩵🐾
This is one very close to my heart.
Kramer is my first poodle. I wanted a poodle for grooming competitions and Kramer was the perfect dog. But, I went to a puppy class at an agility facility and I was hooked!
Kramer and I competed for several years and we loved it. As he got older I would leave him with my mom while I competed with my young dog. I noticed when it was time to bring him home, my mom wanted him to stay a bit longer. I realized Kramer did better being the only dog at home and he was the perfect fit for my mom. After a few tears, Kramer permanently stayed at her house. It was the best decision I ever made! He’s living his best life and he brings so much joy to my mom.
He’s had different looks over the years and he’s helped me be a better poodle groomer.
I couldn’t love this dog more 💙

🐾💡🩵 On The Spot”Light”🩵💡
I’ve been blessed by this family since the beginning of my business. I’ve watched Brent and Denise’s human family grow from little kids to adults in college, getting married and having their own children.
Their four legged family started with Shandy,
Holly and Zoey, who have all sadly passed. Later came Truman, Willie, Darby and Finn. I enjoy these 4 dogs so much, they are a joy to groom.
Thank you for being such a great family ♥️

Yesterday I was invited by Pawsperity to give a talk about running a mobile dog business. What a gift this grooming school is to the KC area and people wanting to join this fantastic profession. I took my van so after the lecture they could see what it looks like on the inside. They had so many fantastic questions!
There are plans for me to give this lecture again and do a grooming demo on a breed I’m pretty good at. I’ll let you guess 🐩💗

🐾💡🩵 On The Spot”Light” 🩵💡🐾
Today I’m featuring Rigby and her family Scott and Jackie. They started with me back in 2006 when my business was new. They had a sweet little dog named Bunny. After Bunny came Wicket. When Bunny passed they added sweet Rigby to the mix Sadly, they lost Wicket last year and now Rigby gets all the attention. This sweet dog has a chronic skin condition that we manage as best as we can. She is bathed frequently between grooms. I groom her on a regular basis with a deep cleansing shampoo and then let her soak in her medicated shampoo. She’s such a little angel and is lucky to have a family the takes such good care of her!

I’m starting a new post called
🐾💡🩵On The Spot”Light”🩵💡🐾
I want to highlight my clients , especially those of you that have been long time, loyal clients.
Today’s Spot”Light” is Anna and Richard who share their home with Poppy and Coco.
I started grooming for Anna and Richard back when I worked at the vet clinic and knew very little about grooming! At that time they had Coco and Lilly. I also had a mini schnauzer named Gretel. Anna and I went to an obedience class with our 3 dogs and practiced in the streets of Alma.
Coco sadly passed after battling cluster seizures and Daisy joined the family next.
In 2006 I went mobile so Anna and Richard were among my very first clients.
After long lives, Lilly & Daisy said goodbye. Buttercup, renamed Coco, and Poppy joined the family and are currently ruling the house.
I am truly grateful for this family that has trusted me with their schnauzers for many years!

As 2023 comes to a close I want to thank you, my clients, for being such wonderful people. It’s been a year of ups and downs in my personal life but what stays consistent is you. I can come to your home and spend time with your sweet dogs. It fills me up. I am so blessed by this business and your trust in me to care for a member of your family.
