“Who’s A BIG BOY 🐴
Seasoning horses can be so fun...
It can also be frustrating, humbling, and embarrassing. ☺️
One time someone told me “don’t worry about who sees your bad days, the people who matter won’t judge, because they’ve all been there.”
Another thing I think about when I have a bad day seasoning one - this is why “finished” horses are worth so much money...because not everyone is willing to embarrass themselves. Training wheels are off and this big boy won what we came to accomplish ❤️

No one cares about what you’re doing more than you. The cold hard truth is most people don’t want you to be successful, and if they do, they still don’t want you to be more successful than them.

I come across people everyday, that say they want to be a winner, that say they want to ride better, that say they are willing to put in the time, and simply don’t.

The truth is, winning is hard. Its not that 15 seconds you put in to claim the title, it’s the days where the absolute last thing you wanted to do is saddle up. It’s the days it was inconvenient to drive to the arena to ride. It’s the days you didn’t skip a lesson or an opportunity to learn. The days you didn’t skip your homework. The days you overcame that chip on your shoulder to ask for help. That day you skipped a night with friends. People will always make time for what’s important to them, in all aspects of life.

It’s hard to have true dedication. Where are your priorities? Ask yourself, do you really want to win? Are you tough enough to fail?

You want to win? Prove it.

The question I get a lot is at what age can my kid start riding ! Answer 🤩❤️ Little Jackson is 6 yrs old started with me a year ago and look at him go no stirrups … elbows bent at his side an lite hands looking where he needs to go !
