Kenzie VanOrder sent this run to me today to see what I thought about it and I say Wow! Great job! She and mom Brandy VanOrder came to the last clinic we did bc she and her boy bristol were struggling with a few things that needed to be fixed. At lunch time she told me she didn't really want to come due to prior experiences but by the end of day after the clinic was over she gave me my first clinic hug I've ever had she was so happy with how her day went for her and bristol. This may not impress a lot of people bc it's not a 14 sec run that seems to only get somes attention but it surely impresses me bc I know the struggles they were having before she came to the clinic and I think sometimes we forget that some of these kids are only 12 or 14 or 15 yrs old and don't have the experience that some others do but I do know that she has worked her tail off on what we focused on bc it certainly shows to me
It's always the simple things in life!
I met and spent a few hours with Lilly and Carats (24). Some of you may know Lilly and or Carats. Lilly hasn't owned her very long and is just starting on barrels but has big dreams of going to the NFR one day. Before we left the barn this adorable young lady had to make sure that Carats stall was cleaned 1 more time even tho it was already cleaned and she wasn't taking no for an answer. That is where dedication truly starts. With love of horse first
This little horse is running big horse times. They worked their tales off at the clinic last weekend. Great job ken!
By the end of day we all reached a new level of what it takes to have better barrels
This clinic was at Booneville couple months ago.
Last run of the weekend shows how tired your horse can become over the course of a long weekend
