Update: Sophie went home!!

Little Sophie is ready for adoption! Sophie is the sweetest little girl in town, eager to spend her golden years snuggled up with her family, or in a nice soft bed. This girl is the queen of snuggle time and would be more than happy to spend her days being carried around like royalty. Sweet Sophie may be a queen, but she is willing to share her home with another dog that matches her low energy, and appears to also be good with cats.

Sophie does have a few health issues that are common with small breeds, including some dental issues, and a few small tumors on her body. We are transparent with the health of our animals, so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to us!

Sophie is approximately 9 years old, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and spayed. If you would like to meet Sophie please contact the shelter at (636)456-8707 to set up an appointment.

Update: This dog has been returned to his owner

This dog was brought in by officers after hours. He was found on Roy Avenue. We are closed for the night, but if this is your dog please contact the shelter at (636)456-8707 and leave your contact info on the machine. We will return your call in the morning.

Dobie is ready for adoption! Dobie came to us in very poor condition, but has made a great recovery in his time here, not letting his past dampen his spirit! His bright, silly personality has not been lost in his hardship and always has a smile on his face. Dobie loves everybody, and is great with other dogs and children. He's very intelligent and reliably housebroken. Dobie is slightly older with a mild energy level and still has the occasional zoomie, but would much prefer to be a couch potato with his family.
