This cat was trapped on South West Street. Initially she acted like a feral cat. This is why allowing them to hide and decompress is so important. We are still trying to find her owner!
Introducing Larry!
Please read the entire post if you are interested in adopting Larry. We unfortunately do not have time to answer every question on this post. Please call the shelter to set up a time to meet him (636)456-8707
Larry is a 1-2 year old mixed breed weighing 18 pounds. He is a happy, funny, and active little guy. Larry is friends with everyone he meets and usually greets you with a toy in his mouth. Don’t let his small size fool you, this is a lot of dog in a little body! Larry isn’t a lap dog and wants to be busy. He loves tug of war, running, and playing with other dogs his size. Larry has been fine with cats he has met, but might enjoy chasing them. Because Larry is a rough and tough boy we are not going to place him in a home with small children. He needs an active person that will take him for walks, play, and spend lots of time with him. He is mostly housebroken, but does have some “marking” behaviors that might require him to wear a belly band in the house until he gets the routine down. Larry needs a fenced yard for off leash play and potty time. Larry does shed, so if that’s an issue for you he isn’t your guy. He can also be a barker if left alone or bored. He has been tested, vaccinated, and neutered while in our care.
Please understand it is our goal to make a match that makes the pet and people happy so that it lasts forever!
