Crickets have a life span of about 9 weeks compared to Dubia roaches who live a few years. Dubia are much longer lived and can be kept for long periods of time with little or no upkeep. Dubia don’t make noise, they can’t climb or bite, and they don’t smell bad. This makes them ideal to stock up on to avoid excessive trips to the store. They also contain about 3-5x the nutritional value and have a more ideal protein:fat ratio so they are healthier for your pet as well.

There has never been a more appropriate time to ditch finicky, smelly, unhealthy and diseased crickets and switch to clean, hardy, easy to keep, and ultra nutritious Dubia! Dubia are absolutely the best feeders available on the market. Out of literally a million different kinds of insects Dubia are the #1 preferred feeder by experts and hobbyists.

There is a national cricket shortage. PetCo is struggling to keep crickets in stock. They are currently limiting purchases at 40 crickets which isn’t even one meal for many animals.

Dubia roaches are ideal feeders for almost all types of insect-eating pets ranging from Bearded Dragons to Tarantulas.

They are less available only because crickets have been commercially available for much longer and because of the unfamiliarity of roaches as amazing live-insect feeders. There are 1500+ species of roaches, do not confuse these with pest roaches most people are familiar with. They are not the same.
