Callie Eisenhart is now offering saddle fitting in addition to osteopathy. Here is a great clip of her performing a back tracing which is done at her appointments to provide a collaborative starting point.
Saddle fitting appointments start at $200 plus a farm call fee with any additional bench work that the saddle needs at a separate charge. We are also offering joint osteopath and saddle fitting appointments, terms and pricing dependent on new or recheck adjustments.
Information on Saddle Fitting Appointments:
Please have your horse cleaned and prepared to be tacked and ridden. Have all saddles you want evaluated on hand and ready with girths and saddle pads.
The appointment will start with the horse unsaddled. Callie will take a tracing of the horse’s back and do a static saddle evaluation followed by a ridden evaluation. PLEASE BE PREPARED TO RIDE or you will not receive an accurate saddle evaluation and fitting.
Callie’s certification is for English saddle fitting. She may be able to provide general information and recommendations on western and endurance saddles, but her certification is for English saddles at present.

Did you know that your horse may not need all the vaccines that he/ she is receiving?
Do you feel informed about making the decisions on what to give? Almost all equine vaccines contain thimerosal and may contain other preservatives. Those ingredients, along with the multiple immune stimulations from vaccines could be detrimental to the long term health of your horse.
Many of the vaccines that we give are likely to be effective for much longer than the 6 month or 1 year recommendation on the label. We can use serum titers to check for possible antibodies in your horse and help you decide if and when to vaccinate again. Since most of the time, this would mean fewer vaccines - maybe once every 3-5 years, the titers end up costing you less and helping to preserve the health of your horse!
If you would like to discuss what vaccines are best for your horse’s lifestyle or are interested in learning if titers could be beneficial, True North Equine is offering telemed vaccine consultations as well as fall vaccine appointments.

Webinar Overview: “Trace minerals are like the key to your truck or tractor, not a very big part, but they bring it to life.”
What does trace mean? Which minerals are “trace minerals” and why are they so important?
Iron is a trace mineral, does my horse need it, how much is good, is there potential for too much? Yes, your horse needs trace minerals, but which ones and how much?
We’ll discuss levels and sources. Along with how the diet may impact those trace minerals and amounts needed.
Can trace minerals affect inflammation, health, hoof integrity and weight gain or loss in my horse? Does the quality or source of my minerals really matter?
Mineral source matters. We’ll share how to read your tag or label, and understand what you’re buying.
