We currently have quite a few cats listed as "Rodent Responders."

Rodent responders are cats that thrive in environments with minimal human interaction, such as barns or workshops, where they can roam freely and put their natural mousing skills to work. This creates a win-win relationship between the cat and their adopter.

If you’re looking for a hardworking mouser to keep your space pest-free, now is the perfect time to adopt a rodent responder! All of our rodent responders have waived adoption fees.

We currently have up to 15 barn cats in our shelter looking for barns to call home. While we invest thousands of dollars in their care, including medical treatment, we do not charge an adoption fee.

Each cat is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed.

Kosciusko Community TNRis looking for a warm barn home for a mom and 3 older kittens (4 mos) ASAP. Cats aren’t trapped yet but I want a home lined up for them to go to after surgery. They are in an unsafe area.

*Mom is skittish- babies are not socialized. All appear to be healthy and will be fully vetted and eartipped. All we ask is for a free will donation. ❤️🐾❤️

🔻🔻We need to get these kitties out of the shelter environment! And free up much needed cages!! We are FULL on cats!! 🔺🔺

⚠️ We currently have 3 Semi Feral (do not want you to touch/hold them) and 6 Semi Friendly adult kitties (will tolerate pets on the head, but do not want picked up - they will likely each bond with their caregiver(s), but prefer to stay away from others) that are looking for Barn/Shop Cat placement ASAP!! They do best paired up if you have no other outdoor cats! ⚠️

They are not housecats, they have spent their lives outside and were thriving. They want out of here ASAP as they are getting stressed out being stuck completely inside. With the mild weather, now is the time to acclimate them to their new locations!

This program provides rodent control for your barn, outbuilding, warehouse, or business by outfitting your place with a Working Barn Cat!

SPAYED/NEUTERED, VACCINATED and EAR TIPPED!! They are community cats who can’t be returned to where they came from, for various reasons.

Their needs are simple - shelter, daily food & water. Your property is cleared of rodents, and you're saving the life of a hard-working cat. It’s a win-win for everyone! ❤

We don’t have a set adoption fee for our Barn Cats, but a small monetary donation is appreciated, to help us continue this program!

We have three rodent rangers here at the shelter! Rodent Rangers come vaccinated and spayed/neutered! We ask for a $25 'adoption fee' to put towards that medical cost.

BARN CATS READY TO REPORT FOR DUTY 🚜🐖🐄👩‍🌾🐓🐀🐈💨

It was a beautiful weekend ☀️ for our volunteers to drive 🚗 around the area and place barn cat signs🪧.

Last week we shared Rodent Responder 🐀💨🐈💨 Tommy's story, one of the barn cats in our program who sadly crossed the Rainbow Bridge 🌈🌉 with our help. His story touched many of you.😿

We have barn cats who are ready to get work for YOU today to help naturally control the pest population at your farm, garage, or shop. Contact us to learn more and spread the word to anyone you know who may be looking for help!
