BARN CATS READY TO REPORT FOR DUTY 🚜🐖🐄👩‍🌾🐓🐀🐈💨

It was a beautiful weekend ☀️ for our volunteers to drive 🚗 around the area and place barn cat signs🪧.

Last week we shared Rodent Responder 🐀💨🐈💨 Tommy's story, one of the barn cats in our program who sadly crossed the Rainbow Bridge 🌈🌉 with our help. His story touched many of you.😿

We have barn cats who are ready to get work for YOU today to help naturally control the pest population at your farm, garage, or shop. Contact us to learn more and spread the word to anyone you know who may be looking for help!

Through our partnership with local shelters, we place these cats who are considered “unadoptable" and at risk for euthanasia due to shelter overcrowding.

This program gives feral kitties a second chance at life. ♥️

These are 4 of the 5 kitties we have had to intake because their outdoor homes were no longer safe for them. We are working to trap the last of the black and white siblings, so their family can be reunited and they can move to a safe home together! The two ginger guys would like to go as a pair. If you have an outbuilding, barn, or shop that could use a little help keeping the rodents under control and would be willing to give some cats a second chance please reach out to to us in messages or text our barn coordinator, Kacy at 330-465-8879

‼️‼️OK, Facebook friends & followers - these cats have now all been with us for at least 30 days!! They need out of here!!! If you have thought about adding a barn cat or two to your property now is the time!!! ‼️‼️

CLOSED SUNDAY & THURSDAY

11-5 Tuesday & Friday
11-6 Wednesday

🐾Please share to help us find placement for each of them!!🐾

‼️⚠️ We currently have 4 Semi Friendly adult female cats and 1 Semi Feral adult male cat - (they will likely bond with their caregiver) that are looking for Barn/Shop Cat placement. ⚠️ ‼️

⚠️ THEY NEED PLACED ASAP! ⚠️ The 4 females will tolerate pets but are afraid to be held or handled very much. The 1 male is a bit grumpy and just wants out of a pen like the day he arrived!! These kitties need outta here, so we can help other cats that need to come in!! ⚠️

They are not solely housecats, they have spent most of their lives outside and were thriving. They want out of here ASAP as they are getting stressed out being stuck completely inside. With the more mild weather, now is the time to acclimate them to their new locations!

This program provides rodent control for your barn, outbuilding, warehouse, or business by outfitting your place with a Working Barn Cat!

SPAYED/NEUTERED, VACCINATED and EAR TIPPED!!

Their needs are simple - shelter, daily food & water. Your property is cleared of rodents, and you're saving the life of a hard-working cat. It’s a win-win for everyone! ❤

We don’t have a set adoption fee for our Barn Cats, but a small monetary donation is appreciated, to help us continue this program!

Please send us a message, give us a call (mornings after 10:30 am please!) or email us - if you are interested! (We are CLOSED on Thursday & Sunday).

Friends, we need your help again.
We have 12 rodent responders looking for safe outdoor homes. These kitties are skittish around humans, but for many their acclimation time allows them to become feeder friendly. These kitties would ideally go in pairs and we have one group of four hoping to stay together. If you can provide a safe home and would love help with the incoming mice this is a perfect opportunity to give a cat a second chance. If you’d like to know more or adopt please DM us or text/call Kacy at 330 4658879.

Please share this so we can find them placement asap! Thank you!

🚨We have 8 cats needing a barn home placement ASAP They are not socialized and will require an acclimation period of 4 weeks which we can assist with lending kennels to you for this time period🚨

Update: All have been placed!

🐈 🐁 URGENT BARN HOMES NEEDED! 🐈 🐁

We put out a plea trying to find barn homes for about 5 cats, but no one has stepped up to help yet! We have a variety of stray cats that are not house cat candidates but would make excellent barn kitties. They came in separate so do not need to be placed together, although it would be nice to place them in pairs.

All have been spayed/neutered, ear tipped and rabies vaccinated.

If you have a safe barn location, please consider saving these cats’ lives and giving them a second chance. We ask for any small monetary donation to help continue this life saving program, as these cats have no other option and they cannot continue to sit in one of our cages all winter. 😔

We have more cats coming in who need us! Thank you for sharing as well!

We currently have a few cats listed as "Rodent Responders". Cat Team Lead, Erin, wrote this up to teach everyone!

"Rodent responders are cats that would rather live in a setting with less human interaction. This can include barns or shops where they can have the freedom to roam, and usually make good mousers. This creates a mutually beneficial relationship between the cat and the adopter."

If you're looking for a mouser to get ready for the winter, now is a great time to adopt a rodent responder! All of our rodent responders have waived adoption fees.

Visit us this week to bring home a rodent responder!

**Please only take what you need**
This is for our entire community, and is available all winter, or until we run out. Please do not take multiple bails of straw.

The forecast for this weekend is looking pretty dicey... If you have community cats be sure they have proper shelter! If you are in need of straw to insulate your outdoor shelters, you can come anytime to pick some up. It is located to the right of our front doors, outside the shelter. Please bring a bag or container for your straw, and only take what you need. Please leave some for others!
