This little girl is Melissa 🐶

Melissa had a pretty rough start. She is only 9 months old, and she spent the majority of her time tied up to a chain in the back yard of her old home. She was tied up with 2 older dogs that saw her as the "weak link" and were beginning to attack her 😢

Her new owner saw what was happening to her and was able to rescue this precious girl! Needles to say she knows very little about the world around her. This has led her to be very shy and cautious of her surroundings.

Our goal is to build up her confidence and show her that it is ok to give her love to everyone and not just those closest to her. And boy, does she have a lot of love to give!! 😍

Look out world, here she comes!! ❤️🐶❤️

We welcomed a few new members into the camp lucky family! But first, we are going to welcome this sweet boy. Everyone meet Gus 😍

Gus is still very much puppy. But at just 5 months, he is already over 60lbs! 😳 it's safe to say that he is going to be a big boy. So manners are an absolute must! Let's see what we can do 🐶🐶

Another great day of getting all our lucky pups together for a play session!! 🐶😍

Teaching proper play is a key milestone in our lucky board and train programs. Needless to say, these pups are pros!

And of course, we had to get a photo of all our training professionals 😎 Camp Lucky is lucky to have you all!! ❤️

We welcomed another new member to the camp lucky family! Everyone meet Koda 😍

This little boy has some slight reactivity issues that his owners are wanting to get a handle on before it progresses.

Outside of that, he does well with the commands that he does know. We just need to proof them around distractions. You got this Koda!! 🐶

This "little" lady is Oreo! 😍

Oreo is an 8mo puppy who has a ton of puppy energy! This includes wanting to be a bit too mouthy when she plays, gets over excited when meeting new people, and has little to no control over impulses 🐶

We are going to help her with all of that and more! You got this Oreo! Let's GOOOO!!

Everyone, please help us welcome Garfield and Gucci!! 🐶🐶

These 2 pups come from the sake home. Garfield (tan) knows some of his basic commands but lacks some manners. He gets very excited when meeting new people and will pump and pull on the leash. He has shown some reactivity while on the leash and can be a bit reactive when it comes to other dogs.

Gucci (brown), on the other hand, is very much here for her people and her people only. She does not like meeting strangers so her reactivity surfaces when meeting new people or dogs.

Both pups have their quirks, but it is nothing the camp lucky team can't handle!! 💪💪

This handsome man is Beckham 🥰

Beckham is a lover boy! We don't think he knows what a stranger is 😂 he just needs some help with his obedience, so he can greet people more politely. Such as not pulling on the leash or jumping up on them lol

A big shout out to Buddy (9yro golden) and Willie (1 you golden)!!!

These 2 did absolutely amazing in their 2 week board and train!! 😍😍

The biggest thing to tackle was their walking as their dad has limited mobility. Needless to say, they killed it!! 💪💪

Here is a picture mom was able to capture at their drop off 🥰 great job guys!!

These last few days have been excellent for all of these pups!! They all have been hard at work showing off all of their new found skills 🐶🐶🐶

We welcomed this handsome boy into the camp lucky family! Everyone meet Griffin!! 🐶❤️

Griffin is a sweet old soul kind of dog. He does extremely well around the house with his obedience. But when other people come over, it can be hard to calm him down. He let's his fear get the best of him 🫣

This also translates over to other dogs while outside of the home. This type of reactivity is purely driven by fear. He has never bit another dog or another person. He just wants to seem scary so he doesn't get hurt.

We are here to show him the world isn't a scary place!! You got this Griffin!! 😍

A big shout out to Storm!! 😍

She did fantastic on her exit test! By the end of her training, she was completing all of her obedience off leash 🥳

On the day she went home, she got to work around her housemates, the livestock, and even got to experience the freedom of exploring all of the acreage, all without a leash!! 😆 ❤️

This sweet little boy is Kal-El!! 🐶 that smile though!! 😍

He is a big Ole lover! He just has a hard time showing new people that side of him.

When he sees new people or dogs, he will bark, lunge, and growl. He has a tendency to pull on the leash, and has selective listening when it comes to his commands 🤦‍♀️

We are working on fixing all of that! He has started his public work, and he has been killing it so far!! Keep it up Kal!

A big shout out to Mr. Hank!! He has worked endlessly to get to this point! His obedience has been soo good early in his training. It is his reactivity that has been his biggest challenge.

To be able to down around all of these people without reacting is an incredible feat for him! 🥳

Plus his focus is just beautiful! 😍 that is one of the many benefits of creating such a bonding relationship with every dog we bring into our programs 🥰

Here is Kai!! He did absolutely amazing with his exit test 🥳

Being able to hold a down in this busy outdoor shopping center would be a challenge for any puppy. But he made it look so easy! 😂

Being that he is a puppy, there will still be maintenance, but his family is more than committed to his success!

They no longer have to worry about him running into the road, so he can have full free roam of all their acreage 😍

Great job sweet boy!! 🐶🐶

This little lady is Storm 😍 she was recently rescued by her current owners, who just want to give her the best start possible!

She is an absolute love bug who knows no stranger 😂 we just need to sharpen up her obedience and get some control on that prey drive. She gets far too excited with the chickens and cats 🐈
