This little girl is Melissa 🐶

Melissa had a pretty rough start. She is only 9 months old, and she spent the majority of her time tied up to a chain in the back yard of her old home. She was tied up with 2 older dogs that saw her as the "weak link" and were beginning to attack her 😢

Her new owner saw what was happening to her and was able to rescue this precious girl! Needles to say she knows very little about the world around her. This has led her to be very shy and cautious of her surroundings.

Our goal is to build up her confidence and show her that it is ok to give her love to everyone and not just those closest to her. And boy, does she have a lot of love to give!! 😍

Look out world, here she comes!! ❤️🐶❤️

We welcomed a few new members into the camp lucky family! But first, we are going to welcome this sweet boy. Everyone meet Gus 😍

Gus is still very much puppy. But at just 5 months, he is already over 60lbs! 😳 it's safe to say that he is going to be a big boy. So manners are an absolute must! Let's see what we can do 🐶🐶

Another great day of getting all our lucky pups together for a play session!! 🐶😍

Teaching proper play is a key milestone in our lucky board and train programs. Needless to say, these pups are pros!

We welcomed another new member to the camp lucky family! Everyone meet Koda 😍

This little boy has some slight reactivity issues that his owners are wanting to get a handle on before it progresses.

Outside of that, he does well with the commands that he does know. We just need to proof them around distractions. You got this Koda!! 🐶

This "little" lady is Oreo! 😍

Oreo is an 8mo puppy who has a ton of puppy energy! This includes wanting to be a bit too mouthy when she plays, gets over excited when meeting new people, and has little to no control over impulses 🐶

We are going to help her with all of that and more! You got this Oreo! Let's GOOOO!!

Everyone, please help us welcome Garfield and Gucci!! 🐶🐶

These 2 pups come from the sake home. Garfield (tan) knows some of his basic commands but lacks some manners. He gets very excited when meeting new people and will pump and pull on the leash. He has shown some reactivity while on the leash and can be a bit reactive when it comes to other dogs.

Gucci (brown), on the other hand, is very much here for her people and her people only. She does not like meeting strangers so her reactivity surfaces when meeting new people or dogs.

Both pups have their quirks, but it is nothing the camp lucky team can't handle!! 💪💪

Beckham is a lover boy! We don't think he knows what a stranger is 😂 he just needs some help with his obedience, so he can greet people more politely. Such as not pulling on the leash or jumping up on them lol

A big shout out to Buddy (9yro golden) and Willie (1 you golden)!!!

These 2 did absolutely amazing in their 2 week board and train!! 😍😍

The biggest thing to tackle was their walking as their dad has limited mobility. Needless to say, they killed it!! 💪💪

We welcomed this handsome boy into the camp lucky family! Everyone meet Griffin!! 🐶❤️

Griffin is a sweet old soul kind of dog. He does extremely well around the house with his obedience. But when other people come over, it can be hard to calm him down. He let's his fear get the best of him 🫣

This also translates over to other dogs while outside of the home. This type of reactivity is purely driven by fear. He has never bit another dog or another person. He just wants to seem scary so he doesn't get hurt.

We are here to show him the world isn't a scary place!! You got this Griffin!! 😍

A big shout out to Storm!! 😍

She did fantastic on her exit test! By the end of her training, she was completing all of her obedience off leash 🥳

On the day she went home, she got to work around her housemates, the livestock, and even got to experience the freedom of exploring all of the acreage, all without a leash!! 😆 ❤️

This sweet little boy is Kal-El!! 🐶 that smile though!! 😍

He is a big Ole lover! He just has a hard time showing new people that side of him.

When he sees new people or dogs, he will bark, lunge, and growl. He has a tendency to pull on the leash, and has selective listening when it comes to his commands 🤦‍♀️

We are working on fixing all of that! He has started his public work, and he has been killing it so far!! Keep it up Kal!

A big shout out to Mr. Hank!! He has worked endlessly to get to this point! His obedience has been soo good early in his training. It is his reactivity that has been his biggest challenge.

To be able to down around all of these people without reacting is an incredible feat for him! 🥳

Plus his focus is just beautiful! 😍 that is one of the many benefits of creating such a bonding relationship with every dog we bring into our programs 🥰

Here is Kai!! He did absolutely amazing with his exit test 🥳

Being able to hold a down in this busy outdoor shopping center would be a challenge for any puppy. But he made it look so easy! 😂

Being that he is a puppy, there will still be maintenance, but his family is more than committed to his success!

They no longer have to worry about him running into the road, so he can have full free roam of all their acreage 😍

This little lady is Storm 😍 she was recently rescued by her current owners, who just want to give her the best start possible!

She is an absolute love bug who knows no stranger 😂 we just need to sharpen up her obedience and get some control on that prey drive. She gets far too excited with the chickens and cats 🐈

Rocky did amazing on his exit test!! 🥳

Rocky was a little nervous nelly who would become reactive towards other people and dogs. Especially while on the leash. We are happy to say that is no longer an issue!!

It is beyond rewarding to take a dog that is afraid of the world, build up his confidence and put him into situations such as this. He nailed it!! 😍

Way to go Rocky! We knew you could do it ❤️ 🐕

This handsome boy is Hank! Hank is a 3yro lab mix 🐶

He is one of the biggest love bugs ever! It's just working through the initial interaction that is the challenging part.

Anytime he meets new people or dogs he is at the end of the leash lunging, barking, and ready to bite.

Our goal is going to be changing his mindset around meeting new people and dogs, so he starts with his happy playful demeanor, instead of having his defenses up.

This sweet puppy Kodiak wanted to show off his off leash skills at Bass Pro!!

He went from a hyperactive pup who wanted to pull on the leash and jump on every new person he met. We are happy to say that is not the case anymore!!

This beautiful lady is Mila 😍 she is a 9 year old Akita.

Unfortunately, when her owners first got her, they were given some terrible advice to not socialize her. Every dog should be socialized. Akitas especially! They are known for being very intense dogs who put their all into everything they do.

Her owners are looking into adding a new puppy and are wanting to make sure she can be under control around the new pup. Tons of socializing is in store for this girl! 🐶

This shy boy is Rocky! Rocky is a little over 3 years old and has developed some pretty bad anxiety. After being born in a shelter, and adopted 8 months later, he missed out on the much needed socialization.

Most of his reactivity occurs while he is on the leash. He will lunge, pull, bark, and nip. Occasionally he will also behave this way towards strangers coming into his home as well.

Our goal here is going to be to teach Rocky how to self regulate and to build up his confidence! Showing him that the world is not as scary as it seems 🐶❤️

This sweet pup Kai is doing awesome!! He is still a puppy but has started to get a bit too vocal towards strangers and has been a bit nippy.

With their owners living on open land with wildlife, and neighbors that own cattle, they are needing him to be more well mannered while allowing him to run freely in the open space. Off leash control is the ultimate goal!! 🥳

We will get there! You got this Kai!! 🐶

This fluffy little boy is Oakley! 😍

Oakley is a 7 month old Sheepadoodle. We are just needing to put some structure around all his playful puppy behavior 🐶

He can be a bit mouthy, he likes to pull on the leash, and has developed the bad habit of jumping on people 😬

Teddy is a big love bug who just needs some help sharpening up his obedience.

Bruno. While just as loveable, will need a little extra attention building up his confidence and helping him become more comfortable around men.

Here is Mr Atlas! 😍 this beautiful boy had a small handful of issues.

First, he absolutely hated the leash! He would pull, flail, and bite the leash. Getting in the kennel was nearly impossible, didn't like crowds of people, and he had an adversive reaction towards men. Likely due to a lack of exposure to them.

All of this is a thing of the past! 😍 please enjoy this short video of some of his successes 🥳

This pretty little girl is Aspen 🐶 ❤️

She is an energetic puppy who needs to learn how to respect the space of her older housemates (13 & 10 year old dachshunds)

She is a bit bigger than the both of them, so learning obedience is a must for them to coexist peacefully.

Here is a quick recap of some of the experiences that Miss Nova had working around other dogs! 😍 She had some pretty severe reactivity/aggression towards other dogs. Just the sight of them made her super anxious. This translated into her pulling, lunging, growling, barking, and snapping. We are proud to say that we have transformed that anxious behavior into genuine curiosity! 🥰 Not only did she learn to say hi, but she also learned how to remove herself when she felt uncomfortable. Boss nailed his exit test! 👏 Boss had some aggression issues when it came to other dogs. He would lunge, bark growl, and bite. ❤️🐶 Shelter pup Sable 🐶❤️ We have another update of Mr. Sable! 😍 He is just a few short days away of going back to the shelter. While with us we have learned that he is an amazing pup! He has the energy of a puppy when it's time to play, and the soul of an old man when it's time to relax 😌 making him the perfect family dog!! He does great with kids, has had exposure around cats, birds and other dogs. He does great with calmer dogs and is definitely a ladies man! 😂 he has learned all of his commands; come, sit, down, place, heel, halt, off and break. He is a big lover and would be a lap dog if he had it his way! He does great out in public and loves the opportunity to share his love with everyone 🥰 Let's get this sweet guy a home before he has to go back to the shelter!
