Because your pups health and safety is our number one priority the below requirements will be followed.

A meeting with you AND your pup(s) is required at least (2) weeks prior to boarding.

All guests must be at least 6 months of age to be admitted for service and current on vaccinations. Vaccinations must be administered at least 48 hours prior to arrival by a licensed veterinarian. However, we prefer vaccinations be administered 10-14 days before check-in to ensure maximum efficiency. Written proof is required. Required vaccinations are: (DPP) Distemper, Parvovirus & Parainfluenza, Rabies, Bordetella.

We recommend that you make your dog’s boarding reservations as far in advance as possible. Boarding spaces are limited! ALL reservations MUST be confirmed prior to checking in. You can make reservations by calling 574-269-3346.

To keep your pup's tummy happy, please bring their food they eat at home. Be sure to pack enough food to last your pet’s stay, then pack a little bit more, just in case! A pup’s stomach can get very upset if their food is suddenly switched. Also, be sure to give very clear feeding instructions with the food. How many times a day do you feed your pup? Do you measure their food or just fill the dish? Do they get a mixture of wet and dry food? The more information you give, the easier it will be for us to keep your pup’s regular food routine.

We provide bowls, cots, and love!

Boarding can be stressful for some dogs. To help reduce stress for your dog, bring them something from home. Their dog bed, blanket, favorite toys, or even a piece of clothing that smells like you. Having something that smells like home can make boarding much easier on your pup. However, please keep in mind, these items may not be returned to you in the same state you brought them. Pups are much more likely to chew and destroy things if they feel stressed.

We are happy to administer oral and topical medications and supplements for your pup at no additional cost. However, we are unable to administer any injection or re**al medications. Please include detailed instructions for dispensing. We cannot accept pups that require medications for survival. If your pup is on a life or death medication, the safest place for them to stay is with a veterinary medical professional.

Unaltered females will not be accepted for boarding if they are approaching the heat cycle or for at least (4) weeks after the heat cycle. We understand that some studies show that waiting to alter a pup until they are older is beneficial to their growth and development. While we understand that standard, there are many risks involved in social settings and interactions. This requirement is to prevent unwanted breeding as well as reduce any aggressive behavior that could result from excessive hormones. While the unaltered pup may be friendly, altered pups in a pack environment behave differently when an unaltered pup is brought into the group, putting their physical and mental health at risk.

🐕 How to greet a dog 🐕
⠀⠀⠀
✨ The best thing about our loyal companions is that they are all different and have individual needs - even the way they are greeted!
⠀⠀⠀
Here explain perfectly the kindest ways to greet dogs who might be a little nervous of strangers.
⠀⠀⠀
Of course the main consideration is to check with the owner before petting their dog - they will soon let you know if you’re good to go. 😊 Some dogs prefer to not be greeted at all.
⠀⠀⠀
Advocating for animals isn’t just reserved for rescuing them, it’s also in how we treat them day to day 🫶🏼❤️
