During , we want to share the story of Dr. Alfreda Johnson Webb, the first female to graduate from the Tuskegee Institute School of Veterinary Medicine in 1949 and the first Black woman licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the US. We honor Dr. Johnson Webb as a pioneer and historic trailblazer in our field.

Come by WAH to get your tickets in support of Duplin County’s animals! We will throw in a free nail trim with purchase of a ticket!

Soon you will see banners and flyers for the April 27, 2024 PAWS FOR THE CAUSE. Tickets are now being sold.

Tickets are $100 - and include 2 steak dinners and non-alcoholic drinks, and 1 ticket for the reverse drawing. A prize will be awarded for every 25 th ticket pull. The grand prize is $5000. The last 5 tickets remaining can opt to share the grand prize or wait it out.
