It's so hard to believe that 2024 is almost over, but by God we are so very thankful! 2024 has been the year that we will choose to of lived and let go! Looking back, I'd rather live 2020 all over again, and that year was horrible for everyone! April 2020 found me vehicle-less, abandoned by my spouse, struggling to live on only $3,000 cash to my name! No debit cards, mounds of medical and financial debt and no income! So stressed to the limit that my body literally began to shut down on me. I reached down deep and found my strength in God, he pulled me up and out of it all. I found forgiveness for all those who sinned and tresspassed against me. I found my inner light and chose to change my life for the better. I opened my home up as a home business and began doing what I loved from home in May! I resumed grooming my clients dogs, while offering my doggie daycare clients days throughout the week. Then I decided to dig a little deeper and began offering pet-sitting in my home. I began focusing on self-care and compassion for others. I started dating and by August 2020, I found the love of my life. By, October I was officially divorced and ready to move on with my life. We got married on Valentine's Day 2021. Together we have spent the years since, clawing our way up and out of debt, medical scares, the closing of my grooming salon, loosing countless clients and furclients, through parenting-times, learning to co-parent, working dead-end jobs just to get the bills paid on time and keep a roof over our families heads. We have lost so many furbabies along the way and yet today we find our home blessed and yet filled to the brim. Today, December 31st we will be closing our Pups Prairie Story. It's been a long and winding road. We will choose to look back and remember all the good days and try to not dwell on all the bad ones. Tonight, at midnight when we ring in the new season, we will be closing Pups Prairie and launching the beginning of a new story!
