We are expecting less foals than we initially planned for this year… as I just recently caught someone, who I presumed was bred and due in November, flirting through the fence with Cotton Top 😅 but that’s okay! We’re excited to meet this year’s foals and will just have a bigger foal crop next year.

She is our 16 month old true black jennet. Mirage was one of our extra hairy foals… but we clipped her, this past summer, for showing. Currently standing at 30 3/4” tall.

Happy 3rd birthday to HHAA Smitten’s Tennessee Mojo! All of our jacks are very special to us… but Mojo is who really put us in an exciting and new direction. He was not born on our farm. Dayle and Joe very kindly let us bring him and his mother home, when he was 4 days old. He was our “first” foal before we had our own foals being born. When we got him, Dayle said “you will show him.” I’m so grateful that Dayle said this and that we went through with it. We started showing him, when he was 6 months old. From the beginning, at every NMDA Show that he’s attended and had participated in pre-green, he has won NMDA Reserve High Point Pre-Green. This also includes the 2024 Nationals… where he was up against 15 other donkeys. At Nationals, he was also awarded ACOSA Reserve National Champion Jack. There are some who doubted us but I’m so proud of what we’ve learned and have so far accomplished. We still have MUCH more to learn… but I’m looking forward to what’s to come. I’m so extremely grateful for this jack and the strong bond that we have with each other. It’s truly like no other ❤️ Love you Mojo
