More Misadventures of the three Pupateers.
I, Eden, a member of the Pupateers, give this account of the epic battle fought against the Evil magician LeSkunk.
Yesterday morning peasant woman smelled the magician LeSkunk, very strongly outside the Castle. She made all of us stay inside until it seemed like it was gone.
Around 1pm, peasant woman didn't smell LeSkunk and felt it was okay to go outside. Little did peasant woman know that LeSkunk was closer than she knew.
Peasant woman was busy filling all the outside water containers with cool water from the well. While all of us Subjects of Thorn Castle were busy in the yard. That is when the evil magician LeSkunk appeared coming out from under the Castle through the vents! All the subject lead by one of the Pupateers, Jena, sounded the alarm and ran over to see what LeSkunk was. LeSkunk was completely unafraid of the pack. He stood there and unleashed his evil magical spell on the entire Royal Guard! By then peasant woman was on the way to see what was wrong, she was passed by Sir Malak and Sir Shadow running away to go inside the Castle, when she saw why. Peasant woman quickly jumped into action commanding all of the Royal Guard to go inside the Castle. By then the evil magician was moving around the back of the house. Peasant woman was able to get everyone inside except, Jena and Rosa who were still trying to chase The magician. Peasant woman was very scared for the Royal Guard as she could see the Magician did not look well. Jena managed to chase LeSkunk all the way around the Castle as it was now heading toward the open door leading to the carriage holder, known as the garage, where the Royal Slayers, the cats, stay. Peasant woman made a run for the door, got inside and just as she hit the button to close it, it was only open about 6-8 inches, LeSkunk ran under the door causing the eye to see him and automatically open the door all the way. As LeSkunk entered the Royal Slayers chamber, they all took off in fear as they could also see the Magician was ill. Peasant woman was beside herself, so she called for help!!!! Answering the call, was the Royal Physician, Sir Brett and his helper Lady Bree. It took the three of them some time, but they managed to catch LeSkunk who was indeed very sick, and has been permanently banished never to appear in the Kingdom again. All of the kingdom guard and Subjects were checked for bites or scratches and thankfully, none were found. It did appear that the Pupateer, Jena, blocked most of LeSkunk's evil magic potion, on her chest. Unfortunately peasant woman had to air out the Castle and the Royal Slayers Chamber, and all of the Subjects/Guard involved had to be given another potion to remove LeSkunk's potion.
Today, I am told we all have to take a bath, because we still smell. I have explained to peasant woman those are the spoils of an epic battle. I don't think she was impressed. Perhaps today will be quieter in the Kingdom.
Wishing you all a truly happy day in the Kingdom.
Pupateer, Eden.

The Misadventures of The Three Pupateers. Eden, Jack and Jena.
The horned beast were lurking just outside the castle gates this morning.
Eden- Breakfast! Jena-Food-food-food-food-food-food-food...
Jack- I will just calmly wait in my crate and whine a little.
Jena- what shall we do after food?
Eden- let's play outside!
Jack- nom- nom -nom.
Moments after achieving their goal of going outside.
Jack- Alert, Alert the horned beast are near the castle gates, Eden, Jena I need reinforcements.
Jena- What! The great horned beast are close to the castle gates? Those horned beast never let me smell them, maybe this time.
Eden- I have smelled the horned beast, they dropped yummy pellets on the ground to eat.
Jena- What? They are magical beast that drop Jelly beans from where?
Eden- They drop them from under their tails!
Jack-high pitch excited barking must be done to Alert peasant woman. If these beast produce food we must be allowed to eat it.
The great horned beast- oh geez the dogs are at it again, let's jump on the wood pile to gain higher ground and watch for peasant woman to rid us of these noise makers.
Jack and Jena- excited barking high pitched crying. No great horned beast come back we only want the Jelly beans you drop.
Eden- uh oh, it's peasant woman coming to see why we are barking. Quick run away from the fence and act like nothing is happening.
Jack- I can't I must know about the great horned beast.
Jena- I am coming Jack! I will pounce on you and break the spell they gave put you under.
Jack- one day, horned beast, I will get to smell you...one day.

Welcome these two very sweet Shih Tzu dogs to the Farm Family. I was told the female was ran over about a year ago and didn't receive any Vet care. She has some very obvious issues we will be getting checked out on Friday. They are a bonded pair. The owner didn't give them actual names, so we will do that too.
We will update you all on the female after her Vet appointment.

The Misadventures of Eden and Jackson
Them- Mom can we go out to play?
Me-It's wet and a little rainy out, maybe later.
Them-But we have so much energy please!?!??!
Me-Okay, I have to get some work done outside anyway and it's only slightly misting.
Them- Excited bouncing around, playful jumps.
Me- Please don't roll in the dirt, Eden, you will get a little muddy.
Them- we can't hear you anymore we are outside playing.
Me- stringing new clothesline and concentrating on what I am doing and not on them.
Them- playing in the goat/calf pen, but staying out of trouble.
Eden-Hey Jack, let's roll in this pile.
Jack- But mom said not to roll in dirt.
Eden-I don't think this is dirt, it smells real nice and we will smell real nice.
Jack- you go first and if Mom doesn't mind, then I will do it.
Eden-I think Mom will be so happy!
Me-After I finish hanging the line and look up to see Eden. Eden, didn't I say not to roll in mud?
Eden- running to me because I said her name. Tailing wagging, tongue hanging out, happy little face, jumps up onto Mom. Mom don't I smell good!
Me- Oh Eden, that's not dirt, it's cow p**p and you stink! You need a bath.
Eden- it's not dirt, and I smell great, I don't need a bath! You said not to roll in dirt, I didn't.
Me- You stink and you very much need a bath.
Eden- That's not fair, I think I smell pretty and I don't want a bath.
Me- Well you can stay in your crate until I can get you into a bath.
Jack- I told you Eden, I didn't think it was a good idea. Geesh, now we are both bored again. I will just sit in my crate too.

Available for adoption!
Meet Jackson, he is a 9 month old 33lb, Shepherd mix. Jackson is neutered and vaccinated. He was rescued from the pound.
Jackson is a sweet dog and likes to whiny talk, that's about the only way to explain the sounds he makes. He has some anxiety issues from being kenneled, but we are working on it. He is also a counter surfer, so no food should be left out, we are working on this as well. He has no issues with cats or dogs, and is very timid of livestock. He is housetrained and crate trained. He is treat oriented and catches on quick when training with them. He has puppy energy but can still be calm. He doesn't chew on anything except his own toys/bones.
Jack's adoption fee is $25.00 (twenty-five) dollars. Let us know if you would like to meet Jack.

Available for adoption!
Meet Jena she is a 9 month old, 38lb lab mix. She is spay and vaccinated.
Jena was rescued from the pound and has some kennel stress/anxiety she is working on.
Jena has separation anxiety, but is working on it in her foster home. She should not be in a home with livestock. She absolutely adores her human and will bond very quickly. She is smart and should have a fenced yard that is secured, because she has some energy. Jena is house trained and crate trained. She loves her toys and plays well with other dogs.
Jena's adoption fee is $25.00 (twenty-five) dollars. Let us know if you are interested in meeting Jena.

We are looking for feedback. We are thinking of opening a vaccination only clinic. This would not be free, you will have to pay for the vaccines. We need to know if you all would support such a clinic. Yes, the vaccines would be done by a licensed Veterinarian. This would be for small animals only.

Please, do not set up anywhere, not just tractor supply/Walmart area, to give puppies away/sell in these temps. Telling me you have it covered, by giving them water, is not helping already over heating puppies. Puppies are still learning to regulate their bodies and can die of heatstroke very quickly. There is no shade in these areas and it can also be viewed as animal abuse should something happen. Please use common sense, if you are going to do this, then you should have to wear a fur coat in the heat and see how long you make it.

Butterscotch has finally decided to get in the pond. She won't go down to it by herself, so I have to walk down there and wait while she takes a dip. The goats still won't even put a hoof in the water, they are picky.
I do have a pool coming for her as she likes to get into the stock tank and muck it up and the goats won't drink dirty water.

The new goat/cow shed is finished with the exception of lining the inside with plywood to keep them from getting frostbite in the winter. I put a couple of pallets together for them to use as shade and to play on.
